'One word describes our wonderful barn experience..Utopia! Excellent quiet location looking out over fields of sheep. Very attentive hosts there on site if you need them. Log burner was fab during the chilly November nights making for a very cosy experience...in fact so cosy we had to crack open a window on occasion. Kitchen so well equipped it was home from home as owners had thought of everything along with luxury bathrooms. It was spotless ...very tastefully decorated too. Thank you...we will...

'You can only rate everything with the most stars. The hostess is something you couldn't ask for. It got dark quite early for this time of year. No problem at all; we returned around 4:00 pm, enjoyed a pot of tea in the living room, and felt right at home. The Christmas tree greeted us upon arrival. We felt completely at ease from beginning to end. It certainly won't be our last visit.'

'Clean and warm cottage in the center of town, very quirky but a nice environment, it is on one of the few roads running through Rye so does suffer from some traffic noise although not too intrusive. Everything was in order on our arrival so all in all a nice place to stay. '

'We loved everything about our stay in Mafeking. The house, the garden and Benenden are all beautiful. Mafeking is a great choice for familys, there are plenty of toys and a lovely playground nearby. We extended our stay because we loved it that much and had a very friendly and accommodating experience with the costumer service. Next summer holiday we will be coming back and are really looking forward to visit Mafeking again. Absolutely recommended.'

"De accomodatie is mooi en netjes en schoon, er zijn een aantal zaken die niet goed zijn: 1. Restaurant hotel was gesloten 2. Geen airco op de kamer 3. Te weinig opberg ruimte in de kamer voor je kleding 4. Te weinig opbergruimte in de badkamer 5.Veel te warm op de kamers 6. Na 4 dagen restaurant open maar diner was slecht. 7. Geen goede professionele rekening kreeg handgeschreven briefje, kan je niets mee. "
