'Perfect October weekend! All four of us loved it - 5 if we include the dog! We enjoyed the firepit under incredible fall maple trees. The sauna was a fun touch, and the home itself was great. We played games, cooked and grilled, explored the local area, wandered down to the river a couple times, spotted more deer than we count, listened to the owls, carved pumpkins and just really had a great time.'

'Great place to stay. The property was private and comfortable, and the outdoor grill areas were awesome. We really enjoyed the river access, and the big yard was perfect for playing lawn games all day. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway!'

'We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. The house was clean, and contained a coffee maker, little stove/oven, sink, and full fridge. It was an easy walk to the public beach access and the Rooster Salon. It was close to the...

'Excellent property nestled in the Michigan woods. Easy access and well maintained. Host had us totally prepared and ready to enter and use the cabin before we arrived. Better than expected and will use the property again.'

'We had a great time staying here, Angie the host was excellent! Great story behind the property, a wonderful work in progress! We had a wonderful time fishing the river and exploring all around! Can't wait to go back in a few years to see how the place has come along! We left some painted stones at our cabin, hopefully we can find them when we come back!
