'Our hostess, Allison, was wonderful. Her hospitality was second to none. The room was quite comfortable and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers ,herbs , and trees,in addition to the gazebo, swings and porch to enjoy the quiet nature. We would definitely recommend The Pines!!'

'Don't be fooled by the early '90s decor, this is a lovely hotel where you're greeted with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie after a long journey, making you feel instantly welcome. The personal touch at DoubleTree is truly charming. While the room feels a bit outdated and the air conditioning/heating makes some odd noises that might keep you up at night, overall, it was a pleasant stay.'

'I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly. Room was very clean. I had no issues at all with my stay. I plan on staying there again next year. Mad props to the staff they were excellent, I stayed at other places and never had the the staff like them. They are very helpful, informative, welcoming, always smiling.
