« The house was beautiful and in a great location. It was secluded and quiet, but just a short drive to most of our destinations (Williamsburg, Jamestown, golf course, restaurants). There was plenty of room to spread out and the huge deck was a great place to gather! We did not get to use the outdoor fireplace as it was too hot out, but would love to return in cooler weather. All in all, a great house and a wonderful stay! »

« There were so many things to do at this beautiful location! We enjoyed boating, swimming, crabbing, disc golf, bonfires, games, and more! The house comfortably sleeps 21 people! It’s a lovely house that has an incredible view and it’s so quiet and relaxing. »

« The cottage was nice, rustic and nautically decorated. The location was good for the areas we wanted to visit. Safety Concerns: The porch steps to the side door were very steep - should be 4 or 5 not 3. The mold in the upstairs shower was a issue, and the lack of useful railing on the steps to the upstairs. The decorative railing was difficult to use for balance. »

« The property is very beautiful. I would not say it has a river view, but it is very shaded and pretty. The house serves basic needs. Clean and comfortable beds. Clean, functioning bathroom. We used this as home-base while visiting son, DIL and grandson for his 1st birthday. »
