'We were there for business - a sculpture dedication at the Irish Miners Memorial which is worth visiting. But we also enjoyed being with in walking distance of the cafes and shops. The property was very clean. It does have quirks that go with a house that was built around 150 years ago, like some slightly sloping floors and such but that’s part of the fun. '

"This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!"
