'What a find! Clean, comfortable and convenient. The house has charm, modern amenities, big flat backyard, wifi, and easy parking. We played the board games that were there, and I enjoyed the travel guides and books. It's great to be able to walk around (hilly, but that makes for great scenery) - we especially enjoyed Bolivar Bakery, Snallygasters restaurant, and whitewater rafting (Harpers Ferry Adventure Center). We'd definitely stay here again.'

If you are planning to do the same, and have family stay in the guest house for the weekend, read the contract *carefully*. We skimmed it and failed to realize that you’ll need to take all trash bags to the dumpster by the barn and strip all of the bed sheets and put them downstairs, etc…'

'This extremely well renovated historic site could not possibly be in a better location for exploring Frederick. Danny was very responsive and checking in and out were easy. Keep in mind it's an historic site at the intersection of two streets, half a block from the art center and a lovely bridge across the creek - all positives, but you do need to keep privacy in mind. Sort of like a condo at the beach right on the boardwalk. Regardless, we're already talking about this spot becoming our go-to...
