'This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. 'I loved staying here, it was perfect for me. I jad a single room with shared bathroom but I never had to wait for a bathroom. There was no rv in my room butbthey have a large guest lounge with sofas, a tv and even a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. There is a bar and a restaurant downstairs which did not cause any noise but certainly was handy for dinner!'

Bev is an amazing hostess - she catered for the birthday function I attended at Tranquilles, serving delicious Thai food as well as the amazing birthday cake. 'What a glorious spot amongst the vines, comfortable well equipped dome, shame the weather didn’t play along so we could use the outdoor fire. The included wine tasting is one of the best we have done, the wines are beautiful and it’s an unpretentious setting. recommend booking the food hamper. What a great idea to give a voucher to use towards the cost of breakfast at local cafes, we visited the Cabin in Exeter and in Moon Lilly in Beaconsfield, both lovely. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay....
