'Inside of the house was great. The yard was overgrown with weeds and porch full of cobwebs. The sidewalk was way overgrown with plants in front of it making it hard to get the luggage up the walkway and stairs. From the outside it looked bad but inside was great.'

'Other than my wife and I being locked out on the upper level deck, our stay was good. Our only suggestion is to address the balcony door, as it locks automatically when you go outside, even if you previously unlocked it. Being a senior couple, we were quite startled to find ourselves locked out. We felt trapped out there, as there was no safe way down from the balcony. 'This is a very good place for a short stay. It is a bit small and the kitchen is small and does not support cooking meals. The view is somewhat limited butthe ocean is visible from the great windows. The location is excellant. There is plenty to do nearby from a hiking and nature standpoint and there are very good restaurants in nearby Half Moon bay. The host was very resposive.'

'My group of four ladies had a fantastic weekend stay! Clean, orderly lodging. I got the top bunk, very comfy. Weather was on the cool side, we all took full advantage of the hot tub. Charming property, beautiful yard with plants. Loved the ocean view from the top deck. Quick drive to downtown half moon bay. Even faster drive for breakfast at The Pilot Light!'
