Thank you for review. We always ask guests to raise any issues they have whilst they are at the villa with Dunes Property Management who are on site and able to help at the time. In response to your comments they say: Towels: in each bathroom there is only one towel as they are laid on the towel rail however in the closets there are extra, enough for six people. The linens are regularly checked. Stove: whilst not new is working fine. TV instructions: we have a manual on the villa book. Living room fan: working fine, we tested it as well. Guests should call us if they need help with any of the facilities. Paint: the property was fully redecorated last year. We will look at touching up some small areas.

Hi George I’m sorry to hear about the insect problems. The on site managers at Dunes Property Management are available to help with any issues so we advise calling them with any problems during your stay. I will report this to them to be treated. Thank you Simon

Sorry to hear that you encountered bad behaviour at neighbouring properties. This has never happened before but of course no consolation to you. I checked with Dunes property management, our on site representatives, who said that this was not reported to them during your stay. For any issues during a stay renters are advised to report issues to Dunes so that appropriate action may be taken if possible. Thank you

Thank you for your review. Cockroaches are a fact of life in Florida. We have regular insecticide treatments both inside and outside the property in common with all rental properties in central Florida. The property has been checked and cleaned since your stay. Thanks Simon

Thank you for your feedback and letting us know about the frying pans and the vents. We will have those replaced and cleaned. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

We are surprised and disappointed to have received this review. As the owners this is the first we heard of any problems with your stay. Had you contacted us we would have endeavoured to help resolve your concerns. We have also contacted the local management company who said they were also unaware of any problems and that you did not raise any concerns during your stay with them when they met you. We have asked the management company to check all the specific items you raised in your review and the responses are as follows: the frying pan and pots are not brand new but are in reasonable condition; the floor mat will be replaced; the mattress in the 2nd bedroom does not need replacement; the front door latch and lock have been checked and are in good working condition; the toaster is working normally. During this unprecedented Covid-19 lockdown period when the villa is vacant we will use the time to refurbish the villa generally, ensuring this is done safely. We regret you seem to have had issues with your stay but you did not give us or the management company the opportunity to address them for you at the time of your stay. Previous renters have not had the sorts of concerns you have raised and we certainly do not recognise your comments from our own experience last time we stayed at the villa.
