In the rolling Twente countryside, just outside Haaksbergen, you will find an oasis of calm. Here, life still feels pure. Narrow roads wind past meadows, wooded banks and charming farms. You wake up to the sound of birds and walk straight into the countryside. In every season, the area exudes a different charm - from soft spring scents to cosy winter silence.

Grab a bike and explore historic villages like Eibergen and Delden, or cross the border for a German coffee shop in a picturesque town. Cities like Enschede and Hengelo are also surprisingly close by, with boutiques, art and cosy market squares. Yet the silence always returns as soon as you walk back into the yard.

Prefer to start the day quietly? Roll out your yoga mat in the grass or dive into the sauna for a mindful moment overlooking the countryside. In winter, snuggle up by the fireplace after a brisk walk through the Buurserzand. Everything here is about slowing down. Making time for each other.
