Our stay was a perfect location for enjoying the fireworks and 4th of July festivities at Guntersville Lake. The house was super clean, beautifully furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our host, Shane Pass, was quick to respond to our wifi question. We will stay here again.
An older house that was redone very tastefully! I love when old aspects of the house are left in tact. The location of the property is awesome with a wonderful walking trail just down the hill from the house. The only complaint is, the bathroom and one of the bedroom doors would not latch and had to have something against it to keep them shut. Also donât plan on a grill, the bottom is rusted out. Very some things that could be easily taken care of!Thanks for the hospitality,
Very nice property location. Close to the lake made this very peaceful. Our visit was just one night and it was basically just to sleep. We had a wedding to attend that evening and left the following morning. This location was more than enough for us.
Had a great week visiting with my Alabama family. I loved being near the lake and walking path. Stores and restaurants near by. Property and house clean the owner responded quickly to all my questions. Hope to stay there again.
The poperty was just as described. We came to participate in the art show , " Art on the Lake". The show was great and the house was very close. We also found some great places to eat.
The house was great for our needs and the neighborhood was very walkable. We loved having both the deck in the front yard and a nice patio in back for more privacy. I would stay there again.
Beautiful house. Closing the back door was a problem. Some of the beds were uncomfortable but it may be because weâre used to our own beds. We had a great time!
The house was very clean, and we appreciated the location right by the paved, lakeside hiking trail. We walked our dog for a mile or two on the trail twice a day during our stay.
The house would have been 5 stars except for a few issues. The biggest one was the strong musty odor âmaybe from a water issue under the sink. I was worried about what we were breathing in. If this had been a hotel, I would have insisted on another room. I would definitely go back if this was resolved, but pass otherwise.
There was no house information that we found at the home. We are used to a book or sheet or something. I found the Wi-Fi password on the back of the router. Also, the host did not communicate in advance about check in â I like to know this early since we did have one place where the host never did send any and we could not get in until late.
Pillows seem like a strange thing to comment on, but I donât think anyone would use the pillows here. I didnât have a ruler, but Iâd say all six of the bed pillows were 12 inches thick. They were double the thickness of any bed pillows I had ever seen. We got throw pillows from the living room and put pillow cases on them.
The kitchen was reasonably well stocked, but there were only 3 forks. That wasnât a problem with just the two of us, butâŠ
We love being close to the lakeside park and trail. Having easy access to that makes the steep back yard a non-issue with the doggo. House is nothing fancy and if you are a gourmet cook you may find the kitchen lacking in tools but for us it was all we needed.
We had a great stay in Guntersville in this lovely home! You can walk to the trail that goes around the lake. And the house is just a short drive into the quaint downtown area.
The house provided the basic amenities. The outside trash was full and infested with flies when we arrived but pick up happened within a couple of days. The property met our needs and we enjoyed our stay.
The property is in quiet and serene place with a Lake View!
Good place to enjoy peace and tranquility! Beautiful Walking Trail around the Lake to view a variety of Trees planted to honor deceased love ones! Also, has a small Beach area!
