The property overall was good. The breakfast was more than we expected. Our only complaint was the lack of hot water. We stayed 3 nights and the only hot shower I got was on the last morning, when the hotel was practically empty. The front desk said that the water issue was due to the hotel being sold out. Now, we went on graduation weekend. I'm sure this isn't the first time this hotel has been sold out for graduation weekend. If you know you have water issues when you are sold out, wouldn't you put more money into a better heating system?

My only complaint is we did not have hot water in the morning. It was warm but hot. The front desk was super friendly and the place was very clean.

Nice place . We caught low season rates and there were only a few other guests as highway 50 W of Gunnison was closed due to a broken bridge.

When I got to the hotel, the gentleman who checked me in was wonderful. I went to my room to find that my window didn't lock. I was on the first floor. The man graciously moved me to another room and helped me move my stuff as there is no elevator. The rooms are poorly updated, office chair is ripped on edges, very thin blankets, the pillows (some) felt like huge clumps of cotton balls, and the hallways smelled of something odd. The next morning, my toilet didn't flush and that was gross. I came back to my room in the middle of the day and the office manager was gone. I walked around the two floors to find some help. A cleaning lady had to let me into my room. The breakfast offered is simple so don't expect anything grand. Here, you get what you pay for.

I needed a safe and convenient stop for the night. The TV in my room didn't work, but I was too tired to care. The hair dryer was broken, I did let the front desk know so that it can be replaced. But overall it was a good experience.

Just a nice and clean hotel. I made a last minute reservation when I couldn’t find lodging in Crested Butte. It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Crested Butte from Gunnison.

I told the front desk clerk that I was a retired disabled vet and I had my service dog with me. He asked me for "proof" that she was a service dog and I informed him that hotels and other places of business are not to ask. I told him I would like a top floor room (only 2 levels anyway) because I have "issues" with noises above me, especially at night. He said pets were only allowed on the first floor. I pointed out that my Golden was not a pet, but a service animal. He refused to accommodate my request so we stayed on the first floor and was bothered several times during the night. We left after one night even though we had paid for two nights. He was quite rude.

Very clean and all items were functional (TV, heat/ac, shower) which is a BIG plus. Recent updates have helped the look but the hotel is showing signs of wear and tear. (carpet fraying, scraped furniture). Still, it's a decent place.

I am very happy with my stay so far. I called at 2:50 PM to ask if I could check in before 4:00 PM and the gentleman at the front desk told me to come in and he was more than willing to help me with my early check in and I appreciated that more than he’ll ever know! Check in process was short and sweet, very simple and my room is perfect. The king bed is so comfortable and I feel content here. Hoping to be able to book for the rest of the weekend it’s been that great. Thanks Days Inn for making my difficult week end with a safe, warm, and comfortable place to rest my head. ❤️

Everything was fine except for the promise of free breakfast. Yes they had some food to eat but it was very limited: two kinds of cereals, some mini-yogurts, some bread and a toaster (but I didn’t see anything to put on the toast) and apple juice (the orange juice was out).

New Year stay, quiet and comfortable
A start of the year stay for family event. The hotel was quiet this time of year. There was excellent wi-fi service and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast one morning was good with hot food available, the other day there were microwavable breakfast sandwiches available. We spoke to the staff multiple times (desk staff, then breakfast staff) about re-filling the non-coffee hot drink dispenser (hot chocolate, chai) but it never happened. It's cold in Gunnison, so hot drinks would have been nice. There is a fireplace in the lobby that had a nice seating area and one of the hot tubs was working well for warming up. Overall a good stay.

I knew the property was near the airport, so was prepared for some noise. What I didn't realize that the noise would be from the staff slamming doors and yelling back and forth outsode my door at 6 a.m. I didn't choose the room, but they chose to be excessively loud early in the morning. In addition to the lack of consideration, the property itself is just really run down. The TV remote didn't work, the carpet was coming up and frayed, and the toilet seat was worn out (gross). None of this would take much to correct, but I won't find out if it changes as I won't stay here again.

Nice and convenient hotel. Enjoyed our stay.
The room was clean, a little outdated. Our bathroom towel holder needed to be screwed in it fell off the wall and same with the shower rod. It was an easy fix for my husband but this should have been corrected before our arrival. Also the TV signal for the remote is located behind dresser which doesn't register from the bed. Had to stand and point behind the dresser to change channel. Hotel location is great the employees are polite and helpful.

The sheets and bed were clean, but unfortunately the bathroom had a very strong chemical smell. We initially assumed it was some sort of disinfectant, but lasted the whole stay and the bathroom was not well cleaned. The shower and sink had not been cleaned and hair was covering the shower wall. The walls are thin and I was clearly able to hear someone in the next room snoring all night. It had a cheap motel feel, but for a more expensive price. There are better value places to stay
