Welcome to Gulf Shores Plantation 5509! This impressive resort spans many acres and dozens of fantastic condo rentals, offering a multitude of amenities for all kinds of beach visitors. Inside you'll find two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom offers a queen bed and private bath. The second bedroom features custom-made built-in bunk beds as well as a full bed. In the living room you'll find a sleeper sofa as well to sleep a total of 8 guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and silverware and there is a nice dining area for that perfect beach-side family meal!

The wildlife refuge, which encompasses some of the state's last remaining undisturbed coastal barrier habitat, is home to a variety of wildlife, with more than 360 different species of birds documented on the site. Spring and fall welcome beautiful migratory bird populations as they travel between their breeding and wintering grounds. The refuge is also home to endangered species, including the loggerhead, Kemp's Ridley and green sea turtles as well as the Alabama Beach Mouse.

Historic Fort Morgan is situated on Mobile Point at the end of the scenic Fort Morgan Peninsula. Here, you'll find nature areas, a boat launch, a picnic area and beaches along with an on-site museum and opportunities to learn about the significant role the fort played in the Battle of Mobile Bay in August 1864.

Back at Plantation Dunes, you'll enjoy a variety of resort amenities, such as basketball, shuffleboard and tennis courts; a putting green; a horseshoes pit; a sauna; an indoor pool; an outdoor hot tub; a barbecue area; and a volleyball net.
