Osprey Cottage
If you want to escape the crowds, condominium congestion, horrible traffic and delays, elevator waits,noise and lack of privacy, you will surely prefer and enjoy a memorable stay in our one bedroom, one bath beachfront cottage. Our modern waterfront guest cottage in the mouth of Soldiers Creek is a perfect couple's retreat with magnificent views of the mouth of Soldiers Creek and Perdido Bay. This wonderful getaway provides great swimming with a sandy bottom and a beautiful pier with safe dockage available for small or larger boats up to 30 feet in length. Weekly or monthly availability at a 10% discount. Our nightly rate is $130 per night. The rate drops to $120 per night October 1st-March 1st. Minimum stay is 4 nights. We have a $20 per night charge for boat moorage due upon arrival.
Osprey Cottage is secluded in Perdido Beach, Alabama, but only 20 minutes from all Gulf Beaches, national seashores, horrible traffic and the crowds and 15 minutes to outlet shopping, water and theme parks. This property is available year round. Our shared family pier is great for fishing, crabbing , watching dolphins, osprey, herons and an occasional bald eagle play and feed. It is a true nature lovers paradise. We have two paddle boards for exploring and fishing. Nothing surpasses watching beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine. Wonderful relaxation awaits you on your next vacation! While you will prefer being outside at Perdido Beach, internet driven NEW Samsung 40” Smart TV and Wifi are available for work and rainy days. It is the perfect, quiet and romantic get away!

Perfect vacation in a perfect cabin in the bay! The communication with the owner was fantastic. He even left us a little celebration gift. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with great views. We enjoyed fishing and catching crabs. We will return in the future.

Osprey Guest Cottage is Amazing!

This is our second stay at Osprey. Walter is the best host, ever! He makes sure everything you need is available to you. His property is just secluded enough to enjoy nature and the bay while still being close enough to all that the Gulf Shores area has to offer. The cabin is amazing. I wish the wife and I could stay forever! The only thing I was missing was a boat. Perhaps I'll bring mine the next time? We stayed a full week and felt time flew by way too fast. Comfortable bedding, couch, etc. Fishing gear available to you. Lighting on the dock if you want to night fish. I almost don't want to tell people about the place so it's always available when I can get away! LOL. Thanks again, Walter, for an excellent stay.

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful, secluded get away and we found it with this property. The host couldn't have been more friendly. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and the dolphins while having our morning coffee on the pier. We fished late into the night with the lighted pier and and gazed at the stars. We hope to do it again soon.

My wife and I stayed at the Osprey Nest for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The place is beautiful! Perched right off the main deck is a perfect view of the Osprey nest and family. This can be viewed from the awesome boat house they have as well! We took our watercraft to go exploring the bay and dolphin watch and were not disappointed. Every day we saw dolphin and not just one at a time but groups of them. It was truly spectacular!The cabin was very comfortable and clean. Great location, both from land and sea. About 30min to Foley and 40-45 to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. By sea we were on the Orange Beach side within 15min, Wolf Bay and the Wharf area about 20min, and Perdido Key in 30in {30-35 mph or so, no stopping).Our host was hospitable, accommodating, and very helpful.The overall property and grounds were wonderful. Very quiet and away from all of the hustle and bustle but still an easy commute to get to all the activity.No complaints here. We will definitely stay again!!!Thanks for the hospitality!!!

Excellent place to relax

The cabin was perfect. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock most of the day. The fishing was good and I enjoyed taking the paddleboard up and down the river. The area was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to get away and enjoy the outdoors.

Beautiful views from the cabin and the dock. Peaceful sounds of birds and no traffic. Close enough to favorite beaches and dining but you probably don’t want to out every meal. Fully functional kitchen and a charcoal grill. Sun and shade both available on property. Gracious and helpful host are close by.

We had a great visit at "Osprey cottage". we stayed for 2 weeks, and had everything we needed. Did a lot of fishing, and caught over 40 fish. Great for bird watching, osprey and dolphins every day. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get away from the crowds

Quiet Hideaway

The perfect place to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay! The cottage was just perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of this location. Having the dock was perfect for early morning and evening fishing. "Fred" the blue heron was such fun! The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Perfect little hideaway.

This place is just far enough out of the way to be quiet and private, but only 30 minutes from plenty to do and see. We enjoyed coffee on the pier each morning. A perfect start to our day.
