Great family Vacation Spot

We enjoyed our stay, and we felt like it was the perfect place for our family to vacation. The beds were comfortable and all the necessities were provided. The double/queen bunk bed combo was perfect for our kids. We appreciated thoughtful touches such as there being numerous hooks to hang things and the provision of numerous fans. Although there isn’t a clear view of the ocean, the ground floor level makes things so easy.

A beautiful & peaceful stay!

We truly enjoyed our time in our rental. The condo was so cute and in a perfect location; ground floor with a beautiful ocean view. The pools were nice, restaurants delicious, and my morning coffee view was simply amazing. We would definitely stay here again. Jackie was amazing to work with and very responsive. Thanks for a great stay…we needed it!

Room location was great!

Only gave it 4 stars because we had some cleanliness issues in the kitchen. I had to wash a few pans first thing and coffee grounds were found in the coffee pot. Jacquelyn was quick to respond to anything I had issues with though & fixed everything we had issues with. Location was a ways out of way to restaurants. But only about 20 minutes to nearest grocery or nice restaurants. Ground floor was a plus to pool/beach and for unloading/loading car. Thanks for a great stay. Would stay again!

End of the Summer

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was perfect for our family of 5!! The location on the ground floor is perfect for a family. Being able to walk straight out of the patio door to the pool and beach was something we didn’t know we needed!! Everything was clean cozy. We grilled at the pool area and went to eat 2 of the nights we were there. Once at a Sassy Bass (off property) and would not recommend! We drove into Gulf Shores to eat at DeSoto’s and it was amazing! The drive to Gulf Shores is quick. We have always loved Fort Morgan and now we definitely want to come back to this exact unit every time!

Simple. Cozy. Affordable. Priceless memories

Our family annual vacation had a last minute change, so I was so sure I wouldn’t find anything affordable that was worth anything, but this place proved me wrong! Super easy check-in, manager was VERY quick to answer my questions (even the dumb ones), and I could walk out my back door to go to the pool and/or the beach. Loved it!!

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful week at Plantation Palms!! Condo is older, but it was clean and had enough space for the family. Rooms are pretty hot at night, but there were several box fans on closets that made it comfortable. Not all outlets worked, but it was easy to find one nearby to work for anything we needed. Stove top didn’t work well - I would suggest only baking or using the microwave. I suggestion to make it better would be to have basics spices like salt and pepper. I bought a set it left in the condo for others to use. Beds are SUPER comfortable!! The location is perfect for the beach and still being able to go out or into Gulf Shores easily!

Great Location

Property easy to access and short walk to all amenities, including the beach. Only issue that we had was in the master bedroom. Although we made no complaints, the king mattress in the master bedroom was very worn in and uncomfortable. Would rent again, but only if we were guaranteed that the mattress had been replaced since our stay.

Lovely stay

We had a great experience at this condo. One of our favorites so far at GS Plantation. The king bed was so comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was up to my expectations and Jackie was amazing to do business with as usual. We will be back for sure!

Amazing property & location

Immaculate, spacious, bright, ground floor easy access, convenient beach access, kitchen had everything, super comfortable king bed, near pools. Property location is at a secluded peninsula, away fro the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores. Mostly families. Highly recommend.

Great Beach Experience

Wrong code given for entry. Dorito pieces on the floor that our infant picked up crawling around. The floor was dirty and the baby’s feet and hands were gray. Terrible lighting in hall bath/shower. Twin beds not comfortable. The frig needs to be replaced. Quite old and no ice maker. Washing machine is so loud sounded like a nascar race. Don’t think the back door locked. Living room furniture old and stained. There was a bit of a musty smell upon arriving. For the money just expected a bit more.

The owner was great but the condo left alot to be desired. After numerous problems with the condo first day, we found that most of the electrical outlets did not work, bathrooms very small and poorly lit, had to continuously move microwave because plug did not work. Stove needs work. Condo needs to be updated. Tall toilets, updated electric work and the washer kept shutting off. It was decorated nicely though

Perfect condo for anyone desiring to be on the ground floor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beach condo. The check-in process at the guard shack is a breeze. Then we pulled up and parked temporarily right outside the front door of this ground level condo to unload our groceries and bags. No stairs. No elevator. Right into the front door! The trash chute is right next to the condo but we did not experience any issues with noise or smell from it inside the condo. And there was no reason to hang out around the front door. Inside, the condo is just as pictured. We found the beds to be comfy, enough towels supplied and a starter pack of paper products and detergents. The condo does not have many cooking supplies or storage containers, so if you plan to cook often you may want to bring spices, oils and storage containers. The one negative I would mention is the stacked washer/dryer is extremely noisy when washing. The dryer is not an issue. Apparently this is common with these types of machines. Our solution was to simply wash a load each time we left condo for the beach/pool/dinner. That allowed us to clean our clothes without listening to the machine run. Out the back of the condo is a good size concrete patio with a chair and tables. We ate out there several nights and used it to keep all of our beach gear and lay towels and swimsuits out for drying. We left our stuff out overnight with no issues. Beyond the patio was a great grassy area that both our teenagers and little kids enjoyed especially in the evenings. This condo backdoor is probably less than 100 steps to two of the pools and the boardwalk to the beach is just beyond that. The beach has chair and umbrella service available. Overall we had a great experience! I would recommend this condo to other parties interested in a ground floor location with easy access to the pool and beach. Did I mention no stairs or elevator!?! If you choose to book this condo, make sure to visit the food truck area right down the road back towards Gulf Shores next to the water tower. Good place to spend an evening with dinner, live music and plenty of room for the kids to play. Enjoy!
