The space:
Welcome to Dock on the Bay.
When you arrive, you will find the keypad on the lower doors between the garages. As you enter the stairs the upstairs will be on your right. If you continue straight, you will enter the bar/ tv room and will get your first view of the Santa Rosa Sound, the pool and dock area. The downstairs living area has a large tv and wet bar with an additional refrigerator. As much as you will want to go outside turn to the right and there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom in between them. The one on the right has two twin beds and is perfect for children or teenagers. The one off the left is perched just above the pool with amazing views of the sound and dock, it's not the primary bedroom but it certainly feels like it. As you are walking through the downstairs living area with views of the sound to your right you will find another bathroom perfect for washing up after the pool just before you step outside. When you step outside, the pool with be right in front of you and the sound will be to your left. The next question is, do I sit next to the pool, take a stroll on the 100-foot dock, or sit under the cabana and watch the osprey hunting for fish? When you walk on the dock, if you pay attention, you might see a stingray or crab in the native grass, the dock also can provide a home for up to two boats during your stay. Fishing off the dock can be quite good depending on the time of year, providing an opportunity to catch (fish here). The end of the dock is my favorite place on the property. At night you can have the moon above you, Pensacola beach in front of you, countless fish circling our green light below you and the breeze cooling you off from the day. You will find reclining chairs and a mini fridge to the right of the pool. There is a staircase next to the pool that can take you upstairs, but for now let's go back to the front door and go upstairs. As you get upstairs you will quickly see the amazing views from living room and kitchen. The dining room table and the outdoor patio table can provide sitting for over ten and views that are also a ten. When you finally take your eyes off the bay the spacious open concept kitchen will greet you next. The kitchen has the same amazing views while being very user friendly and being just a few steps from the deck and outdoor cooking area. Traveling back to the staircase if you look to your left, you will find another entrance and a bedroom that has a powder room right next to it. The laundry room is also next to the powder room. The next bedroom is located to the left of the kitchen and has a full bathroom and two sinks just outside its door. The primary is just off the right side of the upstairs living room and as you walk in you will be very pleased that you got to pick your room. The primary has its own access to the deck and views that will make you want to lay in bed all day long. If you do decide to get out of bed the attached bathroom has a oversized tub and walk in shower that will make you glad you got out of bed. Location, Location, Location Dock on the Bay will not only be an excellent place for you to enjoy time with your friends and family, but the views will stay with you and bring you back to the amazing Santa Rosa Sound. If you want to venture out, you are close to Gulf Breeze Proper and a short drive to Pensacola Beach.
