'We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay.'

'We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and...

'We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen, meneer nam ons mee naar een soort kantoor waar hij de sleutels gaf en liet ons de kamers zien. Geen lift aanwezig, gastheer droeg zelf een van de koffers naar boven. Kamers zijn heel eenvoudig, gedateerd en krap. Voor ons niet hinderlijk. Hygiene in het sanitair kon beter. Voor ons niet bekend dat we ontbijt kregen, bleek bij de prijs in te zitten. We werden persoonlijk bediend van een compleet Engels ontbijt. Kwartier lopen van het station, het bevindt zich...

'Wij verbleven in een familiekamer na een transatlantische vlucht. Gekozen voor deze accomodatie omdat vroeg inchecken (11:00) mogelijk was. Prijs was verder ook ok. Afstand tot LGW ook. Hotel/guesthouse is gevestigd in een oud pand van voor 1900. Erg goed onderhouden allemaal. Ziet er netjes uit. Als je grotere hotels gewend bent, dan is het een (klein) nadeel dat je een dag van te voren het tijdstip van het ontbijt moet inplannen. Ontbijt was trouwens prima. Transfer van en naar de luchthaven...

'The host welcomed us with a quick tour around the house as soon as we arrived. It was a comfortable stay and we were made to feel like we were back home in our own house. I would recommend this house to anybody staying in the area and hope to use this property myself again in the future.
