Superbe villa - à quelques minutes de la plage et des restaurants

Rodney Quay a été récemment rénové pour devenir une superbe maison de vacances située dans une communauté de maisons de ville tranquille de 12 unités au cœur de Rodney Bay. L'avant du complexe domine l'océan avec son éventail de voiliers coloré et en constante évolution. La mer des Caraïbes fournit une brise fraîche dans les villas. Située à quelques pas de la superbe piscine commune, cette propriété exceptionnelle se trouve à cinq minutes à pied de la plage de Reduit (probablement la plus belle plage de l'île), de deux centres commerciaux en duty-free et de plusieurs restaurants renommés, dont Jacques à côté. Le rez-de-chaussée est ouvert avec une décoration et des accessoires modernes. Il y a Wi-Fi, télévision par câble, télévision et une unité de climatisation nouvellement installée. Vous y trouverez une cuisine de luxe entièrement équipée avec un bar de petit-déjeuner élégant, un nouveau lave-vaisselle et des comptoirs en granit gris moucheté. Il y a aussi une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse et une salle d'eau à ce niveau pour plus de commodité. Deux ensembles de portes françaises mènent à la terrasse extérieure privée et à la piscine entourée d'un feuillage tropical luxuriant. Il y a deux chaises longues sur la terrasse pour se détendre au soleil. Il y a une promenade avec des amarres pour les voiliers ou les bateaux à moteur. Les bateaux-taxis peuvent également venir chercher leurs invités pour un délicieux déjeuner créole. Sinon, notre chef privé peut cuisiner pour les invités dans le confort de la villa.
À l'étage supérieur, il y a trois chambres climatisées avec deux salles de bains. La chambre principale a un lit king size, un meuble vasque, des armoires, une télévision à écran plat et une salle de bains privative. La chambre 2 a des lits avec fermeture à glissière et lien qui peuvent être utilisés comme deux lits jumeaux ou réunis pour former un lit king size. Il y a un canapé-lit supplémentaire dans la chambre 2. Chambre 3 a deux lits superposés. Les chambres 2 et 3 partagent une salle de bain de la maison. Les trois chambres sont climatisées.

Perfect Location in St. Lucia
So happy I discovered this gem of a property. It was the ideal location for not having to rent a car. >> Beach Access - you are less than a 10 minute walk from beautiful Reduit Beach. Public beach access is located in between the Reduit Police Station and Spinnaker's Restaurant. Chairs, umbrellas, jet ski's, excursions, food & drink are all available for purchase/rent. Literally, just bring yourself and a towel and the rest is waiting for you. >> Amanda's Property - exactly as advertised and an ideal location with the town and beach a 10 minute walk in either direction. Air conditioning throughout the home. The patio out back is perfect for dining or relaxing and even though it's only steps away from the pool, it's very private. >> Check-in and Taxi - Wilbertha made check-in a breeze and she arranged for Earnest to drive us to/from the airport. He was waiting for us as we walked out of the airport. >> Dining - There is a restaurant/bar right next to the property (Jacques Waterfront Dining and The Cockpit Pub) which we took advantage of. Lots of great restaurants to choose from in town. We hit Rituals Coffee Shop each morning for breakfast and dined at Amici's and Japanos for dinner. >> Groceries - Full service grocery store in town that carries a ton of American brands. If you're not grabbing much, just walk to/from the grocery store. If you're stocking up for the week, grab a taxi for the ride back. They are plentiful and waiting just outside the grocery store.

Great stay
Amanda and Sam were very responsive and made sure our stay was wonderful. They set up airport transfer with Ernest and he was great - we even set up a tour of the island with him. Property was as described, located close to the town center, definitely walkable. We did find a quiet beach away from Spinnakers - at the base of Mt Pimard, where we spent with maybe 6 other people every time we went. Overall a relaxing stay despite Hurricane Beryl brushing past during our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Nice place, but you may be unhappy w/ the neighborhood and other elements
This is a very comfortable place to stay and the pool was great too! The house was clean and the beds were very nice. The house could be better supplied with items that would help the stay be more convenient. But our main concern was that the surrounding area of Rodney Bay doesn't come across half as nice as you may expect. It's gritty, dirty, trashy, has tons of pushy, aggressive locals hustling their goods (including weed galore) especially on the beach, and it's a pretty long walk into the town center. I've traveled to nearly 30 countries, so I'm no stranger to various places and cultures, even plenty of third world countries and other islands. But we'd never go to Saint Lucia again unless we stayed on a resort or went via a cruise. The prices are outrageous for everything, especially food and transportation, and the trashiness and grittiness of all the surroundings (except Sugar Beach) took away from what we expected based on so many reviews about the beauty of the island. So be forewarned about staying outside a resort in Saint Lucia! But if you choose to do so to save money or whatever, then this would be a very good option.

But all the other restaurants are lovely

Had a wonderful stay over New Years at Rodney Quay! Amanda and her staff were lovely and so responsive to any questions or needs we had. Condo is in a perfect location- close to grocery, shopping, restaurants and beach! Highly recommend doing an ATV tour, a boat right in Remedy, zip lining in the rain forest, and a day tour to Soufriere. Our family of 5 loved Chef Robby’s and the shrimp Mac and cheese at Bambooze. Thank you Amanda for the use of your beautiful condo. It was a wonderful place to stay on our first visit to St. Lucia! We hope to come back!

This property was fantastic and perfect for the group we were with! It really felt like home and so easy to settle into. The pool was also a great amenity that we enjoyed every morning before starting our day. We liked the convenience that a grocery store and lots of food options were available. It’s also within a walking distance to Reduit beach and the Friday night street party is an easy taxi ride away. Sam the property manager was easily accessible via text and prompt with response to our questions. I wish I could have this place for all my beach vacations!!! Thank you so much for making our stay in St. Lucia so great!

Solid 5-star experience, clean & homey place in great location
The townhouse is located in a small gated community with a pool in the middle. The place is very well appointed, feels very homy with well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, comfy beds. The outdoor patio is super private, surrounded by tropical plants, has seating and lounge chairs. The area has lots of great restaurants, grocery store and best of all - world class Reduit Beach within walking distance! (Or 2 min drive:) The check-in was super smooth, Sam met us in person and showed us around! We exchanged phone numbers and she was able to answer many questions and give us recommendations during our stay. Wifi was a bit slow for 1 day we had to work remotely.

Perfect home base
The Villa was just the right size for our family of 5. The master bedroom was beautiful and very spacious. The back patio was a favorite spot, private and just steps away from the pool and marina. The location was perfect! 3 minute walk to the Reduit beach (and Spinnakers for happy hour), close to grocery and tons of restaurants. We had Ali and Adessa cook us a creole meal in our kitchen and it was delicious and gave us leftovers to eat throughout the week. Ernest was a great resource for transport and a pleasure to meet. Sam was a wealth of information in preparing for the trip. Saint Lucian highlights: Jus’ Sail sailing trip, Rainforest adventures zip line, Marie’s fish shack, Gros Inlet Friday night street party, and the wonderfully kind and welcoming St. Lucians. Love the vibe of the island!

Property as described in a quiet location. Property manager was accessible and addressed a few minor concerns promptly. The rear patio is semi-secluded and the pool is just steps away. The site is gated. The grocery store is nearby as are a number of very good restaurants. If you plan to see the Pitons, take a boat as the roads are rough. Reduit Beach is close and nice but be prepared to be bothered by hawkers. Pigeon Island is worth a visit and has quieter beaches. If you're renting a car, the road from the airport to Gros Islet is narrow, curvy, rough, and busy. And they drive on the left.

Wonderful Property
My family (wife and 7 year old daughter) stayed at the property and it was just what we were looking for. We prefer accomodations where we can be self sufficient and feel like we are at home for our stay. We enjoy stocking up the refrigerator and pantry with foods we purchase from the grocery store and there were a couple of groceries very nearby. The kitchen has all we needed to cook and bake (dishes, pots, pans, utensils, baking sheets, etc.). The AC was nice in the bedroom at night, after being outside all day, made for a comfortable sleep. There was pretty much everything we needed including voltage adapter in the kitchen which came in handy. The pool a few steps from the property was great and we were usually the only ones there. The property was extremely close to the beach to walk or drive and there was also a dock on the property which had a great view of the marina. All in all, everything was as described and the property was in great condition. Would love to have the opportunity to stay there again in the future. Thanks for hosting us!

Spacious, family-friendly villa in a great location!
I stayed at the villa with my daughters (9 and 6), my sister, and her children (7 and 2) for 5 nights in July. Since I am St. Lucian by birth, I am very familiar with the Rodney Bay area and knew going in that the villa's location is a major selling point (easy walk to the beach, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, etc.). Communication with both Amanda and Anne (the property manager) was great and I always felt like any issues we might have had would be promptly addressed. Some of the highlights for us were the full size washer and dryer, lots of extra blankets, towels (including beach towels), air conditioning throughout and the full kitchen. Our children loved the pool! So great that it is steps away the villa and I did see it being cleaned daily. We were the first guests there since the Covid-19 pandemic began (over a year ago) and it really did seem like the place has been kept up. The only things missing were some small simple touches that would have made us feel even more welcome and at home such as coffee, maybe some fresh flowers on arrival and some bottled water (not promised in the listing, but would have been nice touches). The kitchenware could perhaps also use a bit of a deep clean, though the villa was very clean overall. Other than than these small points- great place! I would definitely stay again and recommend to other friends and family.

The condo is perfect. It has a very home-like, cozy feeling. The outdoor patio is awesome for evenings and a morning coffee. So convenient having a full size washer and dryer in a laundry room. The proximity to the beach, grocery store and restaurant is great. And the owner and property manager are extremely responsive and helpful. Our stay at Rodney bay was good, the house offered everything we needed, and fully stocked kitchen for us! We ate every meal at the house and it worked wonderful! We travel with young kids and we travel the world on a budget! St. Lucia offers lots of activities to keep the kids entertained within our budgets as well! The weather is super hot and rains at night off and on! Our family felt very safe, even for late night walks! Reduit beach was awesome, local vendors love to chat and sell there goods, needless to say they loved us! Make sure you eat from Liz on the beach, amazing Roti’s and drinks! The mud baths and waterfalls are a perfect for the family! We had a perfect 13 days in St. Lucia! Thanks for offering Your house as you helped our family live out another dream as we travel the world!

Our daughter and friend stayed here at the end of January. The condo was s Superb. All the comforts of home. Very neat and clean. The condo is a gated community and very safe. Ernest the driver was very knowledgeable and drove the girls wherever they needed to be. The manager/owner were helpful in directing them to grocery stores and attractions. A short walk to the beach. Due to illness my husband and I couldn't travel. We missed a fantastic vacation.
