We had the good fortune to see two deer and many boisterous birds from the comfort of the front porch. Such a cozy, welcoming home. Thank you so much for the wonderful space! »

« I was visiting my son in Seattle and decided to spend a few days on Whidbey Island. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. The location did not disappoint. We saw eagles and seals. Rain or shine, it’s the perfect place. »

« What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. Thanks for sharing your cabin! »

« The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable. Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps. »

« Back deck is beautiful with great view….however all furniture was covered with dust and pollen so we could not sit out and enjoy it. We had a comforter and two folded towels in bathroom covered with dog hair from previous guest. We just washed and used anyway. Despite those two small issues, we had a great time and the house was adorable, well supplied, and dog friendly. We would definitely stay there again! »

« Pete's Place is in a beautiful and peaceful location nestled in the woods. We enjoyed the cabin and all it offered. The birds singing and coffee out on the deck was relaxing. It was close to the local lakes for fishing. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! Can hardly wait for the next opportunity to come back here. »

« Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will for sure return for another visit! »

« If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us....

« Super location and clean home. It was overcast the weekend we were there, but the views of birds and the water were still lovely! Easy check-in process and very responsive and kind property manager. A well stocked kitchen for cooking if you decide to do that. The only thing that we missed were blinds in one of the bedrooms. An easy fix! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!! :) »

« This house was very clean and well kept. Beautiful view, large yard and patios. Watching the deer in the yard and eagles in the trees all day. 5 min drive to Freeland. Beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size. Brand new hot tub and green egg. Also game room with pool table, fooseball and lots of other games. No access to beach. Pet friendly. »
