The location of the hotel is very good in a peninsula, 5 minutes drive to Agios Nikolaos town. The views from the hotel are fantastic. It has a small private beach for the guests, a beautiful swimming pool, sunbeds and umbrellas.
We had a Ocean View room (Upper Deck). The room is well sized, has a nice terrace, but that's it. To start, the mattress and pillows are not comfortable and the the maintenance is not good, the mini bar did not cooled properly, instead its engine heated the safety box, hence both were unusable. Noise isolation is poor: one night we couldn't sleep because the corridor door was constantly banging (we asked reception to fix it and they didn't do it). The following night there was the same door issue plus our room neighbors argueing aggressively late at night (we called security and they sorted it out).
The quality of the food in the restaurant à la carte is below average, and so was the service.
The hotel beach is small and nice, with sunbeds and umbrellas.
To summarize, the hotel is nice, but you can perceive that it is owned by a slow cost airline in how the property is managed. For instance, in the swimingpool area they charge 15 Euros for using the Bali beds, they bring spirits to the pool in smoothies plastic cups, and the snacks in a sealed plastic container. That is not of a 5 stars hotel.....
