  • Deze vakantiebungalow is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de Norfolk Broads en alle activiteiten en bezienswaardigheden die het te bieden heeft .. Stap naar de ingang. Allemaal op de begane grond.
    Woonkamer: met houtkachel, Freeview-tv, dvd-speler en Blu-ray-speler.
    Eetkamer.
    Keuken: met elektrisch fornuis, magnetron, koelkast / vriezer, vaatwasser en wasmachine / droger.
    Slaapkamer 1: met kingsize bed en openslaande deuren naar de tuin.
    Slaapkamer 2: met twee eenpersoonsbedden.
    Badkamer: met douche boven een bad (geen toilet).
    Afzonderlijk toilet .. Elektrische boilers, elektriciteit, beddengoed en handdoeken inbegrepen. Eerste houtblokken inbegrepen. Reisbedje en kinderstoel. Welkomstpakket. Omheinde tuin met gazon en zithoek en tuinmeubilair. Fietsenwinkel. Eigen parkeerplaats voor 2 auto's. Niet roken. Let op: Er zijn 2 treden vanaf de veranda naar de tuin .. Deze ruime, vrijstaande vakantie-accommodatie met 1 verdieping bevindt zich op Potter Heigham in de Norfolk Broads en biedt mooie accommodatie voor elk moment van het jaar. Hickling Broad ligt op een klein eindje rijden met zeilen en windsurfen, evenals het natuurreservaat Hickling Broads. Voor de kinderen is er het openlucht avonturenpark BeWILDerwood in Horning. De zandstranden en duinen van Winterton-on-Sea zijn een klein eindje rijden, en in de wintermaanden, zie de zeehondenpups op Horsey Beach. Verken deze interessante kust, bezoek Happisburgh, Sea Palling en Cromer. U kunt ook een dag doorbrengen in de mooie stad Norwich, waar genoeg te zien en te doen is. Strand 7 mijl. Winkel en pub 500 meter, restaurant 800 meter.

    Er is een stap naar de ingang. Eerste brandstof voor de houtkachel inbegrepen, daarna lokaal tegen kostprijs verkrijgbaar. Er zijn twee stappen naar de omheinde tuin.

We enjoyed our week here .

We enjoyed our week here .. a lovely place to stay . Very quiet which surprised us as you were very near to the A149. Lovely countryside on the doorstep .. on one of our walks we saw a barn owl, hares and a muntjac dear. We didn't venture out in the evenings as it was dark by 6.30pm. Unlit roads .. no street lights .. so you need a torch if you want to go down to the local shop or pub. We stocked up with wine and food from the big Tesco at Stalham (on the A149) which was 5 miles away .. it also had a petrol station. Lots of nice areas to visit .. you do need a car though .. and beautiful sandy beaches. The highlight for us was seeing the seals on Horsey beach .. here to pup. What an amazing gem! My husband and I had to rearrange our holiday plans and were extremely lucky to book this place at very short notice. Vicky the owner was incredibly helpful and very friendly. She went out of her way to make our stay as safe as possible with measures in place to ensure our time in the bungalow was comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean and exactly as we like things - well organised and everything labelled with clear instructions for a pleasant stay. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, a big range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine tablets plus spare towels, tea towels, cushions, throws etc all sealed and dated for hygiene reasons. Just like staying in a home rather than a rental property, Stileaway has everything - a shed for storage, washing line, outdoor chairs and covers should you wish to use them, washing machine, and dishwasher. Set in a wonderful location with a large well kept and secluded garden with easy access to the local shop and pub plus ample walks nearby and not too far to drive to the beach. My husband and I travel a great deal both in the UK and abroad and this is by far one of the best properties we have stayed in. We will be back! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A good house that feels like a 'home' rather than a 'holiday let'.

A good house that feels like a 'home' rather than a 'holiday let'. It is well equipped and a good retreat near to lovely countryside, located in a rural residential village street. Close to the Broads (Potter Heigham boatyard is just the other side of the A149), good for walks, and not too long a car journey to nearby places for immediate shopping (e.g. Stalham, Wroxham/Hoveton) or beaches.
