B&B in Great Sacandaga Lake

'Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. 'Clean room and a great breakfast!'

'The staff was accommodating of my requests! They were pleasant and served us a fabulous breakfast! It was delicious and the choices were healthy and offered vegan and gluten free options. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice private bathroom. The location is close to SPAC, the Horse race track, casino and downtown. All within 2 miles.'

'It has old town character yet all the amenities needed for a confortable getaway with a B&B cozy feel .. a super friendly staff and generous management.'

'Alan and Anne were the most hospitable owners. They were always available if I needed something. And the breakfasts were to die for. I was highly impressed. They also tended to minor special requests which was truly appreciated.'

'This bed and breakfast is one of the cleanest, most charming and comfortable places my husband and I have ever stayed in! The host Mike is amazing! He called us the morning of to take our breakfast order and to walk is through the check-in process (which is very easy) and even gave us recommendations for dinner. Definitely try PK’s pub if you like a good home cooked meal. We would hands down recommend this to everyone and would love to stay here again!'

However, the room seemed very much like an add-on to increase revenue and was very expensive for what it was. We had to open the doors and windows because the room smelled musty upon arrival.
