Blokhutten in Great Sacandaga Lake

'Loved everything about this place. Something for all of us (me, my wife, two boys (8 & 12). Herkimer Diamond Mines about 30 minutes away. Had a blast. West Canada Creek for fishing and the cabin was perfect, nice porch to drink coffee on in the morning and a fire pit in the evening. '

'Looks exactly how it does in the pictures. So cozy and perfect for a little get away. Far away from everything but also close enough to a town if anything is needed! Definitely will be back!'

'First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!'
