'Perfect setting for our 5 day stay in May 2025. Pictures don't do justice of the views from both floors. The hosts were exceptional. We highly recommend this rental!'

'All rooms were clean. Kitchen was stocked with essential equipment for a comfortable stay. Portable A/C unit for downstairs and portable fans for bedrooms. Placed fans at windows in bedrooms and they cooled rooms like an A/C unit as the weather is getting cooler. Washer/Dryer units were very useful and convenient. Detergent pods/dryer sheets were provided. Very close to grocery stores and downtown Port Orchard. Host was very quick to communicate whenever we had questions, and accommodating. '

'This was a perfect spot for us —excellent location, an amazing view, and clean as a whistle, Nice quiet neighborhood. Rather sparsely appointed but comfortable. However, the listing as “entire home” is misleading, be prepared for a daylight basement accessed via very steep stairs sans handrail. Knowing what to expect, we’d like to return.'

'Super clean and the smell of the Yurt was so amazing! It rained a bit the night we stayed and it was such a relaxing sound. We sat outside for a while in the evening and relaxed to the sounds of nature. It really was lovely and we will be back!'

'The best! Our family stayed over Labor Day weekend and would ABSOLUTELY return. The lakefront house was a dream. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of beds which is great for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed playing Switch after long days on the water. We were outside almost the whole time. There were yard games, inflatables for the lake, a paddle board and two kayaks. We also brought a paddle board from home. The water was clear and great for swimming. The bottom was sandy...

'Kathleen and David are the perfect hosts! Very friendly and hospitable, helped in any way they could to make our stay most comfortable. The upstairs apartment is luxurious and in good taste, very private, clean and with all amenities provided! Kathleen had food in the fridge in case we hadn't made it to the store, but the cottage location is conveniently located near stores and restaurants. '
