« Une pose s'impose à Stamford et Candlesticks est bien situé non loin du centre ville à pied. Le patron est sympa et a une bonne connaissance de la France. La cuisine est bonne et les chambres sont au calme. »

« This is a pub with an incredible range of cask beers (10) mostly from the Lincoln Green Brewery. The 3 I try ed were excellent. The hotel (pub) has a faded grandeur feel and is basic. This suits me down to the ground. They do not do breakfast so we went to Tesco opposite which has a good cafe. The ensuite room was clean and tidy and met our needs well. It is up two flights of stairs though, no lift, and is a rabbit warren. Parking is on street. Overall I liked it but posh it is not. »
