Dear Hyatt Guest Relations Team,
Upon arriving at our room, we noticed the refrigerator still contained items from a previous guest. At first, we assumed this was an oversight. However, when we attempted to use the shower, we found the handle was broken and it was clear the shower had not been cleaned. These issues indicated that housekeeping did not complete their responsibilities prior to our arrival.
I went to the front desk to report issue woth shower the response made me feel as though my concern was an inconvenience, as she looked at me and asked what I expected her to do. After some hesitation, she stated that maintenance would contact us the following day, which was not an acceptable solution given the circumstances.
I then contacted Hyatt Customer Service. Unfortunately, the AI chat disconnected unexpectedly, and although I was told my complaint would be escalated, I never received a follow-up call or email.
I am very disappointed in this experience, especially from a hotel chain known for quality and guest care. The lack of urgency, communication, and accountability made us feel that our concerns were not taken seriously.
I hope this feedback is reviewed and addressed appropriately, as this experience fell well below the standards I associate with the Hyatt brand.
