Great location and amazing views. Easy access to mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and more. We were very please with our stay and would love to come back.
Great views and close to everything we wanted to do!
Neat little spot with amazing views!!! Tucked off a main road but still felt removed and peaceful, owner was awesome! Had a minor issue when we arrived however problem solved in less than 5 minutes!! Will book this again next time weâre in Grand Junction!
We very much enjoyed out stay here. This place is isolated enough, yet close enough to everything in the area. We came to the area to run some jeep trails, and there is plenty of room to park a trailer here.
Overall ok property inside- I think he updated what he needed to so it could be rented out. Outside could use some upkeep. Only had two bath towels for 5 guests. The view is unbelievable and lunch loop path is right in the back yard. Thomas answered right away when we had an issue with the lock.
Overall we enjoyed staying here! This rental had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the accessibility to nearby trails. Our only complaints would be the cleanliness wasnât up to professional standards. There was toothpaste dried up in the bathroom sink upon arrival, the grill outside was rusty, and some chairs outside had food stains splattered on the cushions. We also saw mouse poop all over the floor in the sunroom and there was some on the bed in that room as well.
Good location for Mountain Bikers, Hikers. Not a palace.
I appreciate that they accept pets, that is our most important consideration.
Cleaning was OK, not what I would call up to professional standards, my wife noted a spilled substance in the refrigerator that had not been cleaned.
Great spot to stay if you want to ride the Lunch Loops trail group. A trail extension is in progress that will put a trail just on the other side of the back fence. Completion expected in 2025. until then you will ride the road with non-existent shoulder about 1/2 mile to the Lunch Loops lot.
The photo of the outside of the unit on the website description is of Unit #1, not #2, which is the one we rented, and is to the left of the photo. Unit #1 appears to be either a long term rental, or owner occupied.
The double carport on Unit #1 is a nice feature if you need to work on your bike or motorcycle out of the weather. Also, there is a water hydrant here.
The driveway entrance is difficult to find after dark, and requires care as there is a drop off on the left side of driveway entry which could easily swallow a car tire.
A basic accommodation, but fantastic views of the National Monument and surrounding area. An outdoor lovers paradise. Basically backs onto the Lunch Loops and the Colorado National Monument. Super convenient location to eateries and groceries just down the road. 15 mins from the airport. Thomas was a great host and managed to meet my fragrance sensitivity requirements. Would highly recommend.
This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this property. We absolutely love the location, its quiet and has great views and close enough to everything that you can do a lot but far enough away from town that you can enjoy the country.
This property is very clean, quaint and comfortable during all seasons of the year. It is accessible to some of the best spots in town and yet set in a peaceful, more remote area. Always enjoyable !
