'Verblijf in de gite als de streek was heel fijn! Fietsen en wandelen deden ons deugd. Bij aanvang met de grote warmte was het aanwezige zwembad welkom geweest. Gelukkig vonden we aangename zwemplaatsen in de regio. Dank voor het grote welkomspakket en de lieve zorg van de eigenaars!'

'The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. '

'Heerlijk om even overal ver vandaan te zijn; even niets. Mooi gerestaureerd huis met net iets te veel snuisterijen. Lekker krakende vloerdelen, houten luiken om de slaapkamer te verduisteren, maar ook comfortabel dubbel glas. De kat komt regelmatig een kopje geven. En natuurlijk de prachtige zwemvijver. De omgeving is groen, mooi maar ook een beetje saai. Op 5 km is een mooi zwemmeer met zandstrand, neem een bootje mee! Op 30 minuten is een kartbaan van 1100 meter. Meer hebben wij niet gedaan,...

'One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. I would like to thank both Mario and Ilse for being wonderful hosts, we received such a warm welcome and were afforded absolute privacy throughout our stay even though they were always on hand if anything was needed.The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped its a real home from home, with a full size larder fridge and an under the counter freezer there is plenty of room for you to stock up on groceries and forget that the world outside...

'Marj en Bruce zijn geweldige hosts. De gîte is meer dan volledig uitgerust en ligt in een mooie, grote tuin met eigen stukje bos. Marj en Bruce zijn erg aardig en zeer attent. We voelden ons erg thuis en hebben het enorm naar onze zin gehad.Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken.'

'Wij, m'n man en ik, hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Mazerolles. De golfbaan in de buurt was geweldig en het zwembad bij ons huisje was heerlijk. Veel leuke tips over de omgeving en restaurants gekregen waar we dankbaar gebruik van hebben gemaakt. We komen graag nog een keer terug bij Maggie en Alan.'

'Wij hebben zeer genoten van ons verblijf in dit typisch Franse huisje. We verbleven er met 4 volwassenen en 5 kinderen tussen 2 en 9 jaar. Zeer ruime kamers, voldoende uitgerust voor zo'n grote groep, prachtig grote tuin en een groot verwarmd zwembad. Dit huis ligt zeer rustig te midden van de bossen en velden met prachtige uitzichten. 'Beautiful gite with all the facilities you could think of. A lovely welcome package of bread, butter, jam, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, eggs and a bottle of sparkling wine. The hosts Fran and Johnny were on hand if needed and very friendly along with their lovely children. The gite was well decorated and very clean. The pool was extremely appreciated in temps of 42 degree.Could not fault anything. Would definitely recommend this holiday home to anyone. Local areas have lots to offer. We will...

"Nous n'avons pas pu passer la nuit, la réception fermant à 20h. Nous avons reçu l'e-mail de confirmation de réservation à 19h53. Nous étions encore en route, et il s'avère que le dernier paragraphe mentionne que la réception ferme à 20h. Ils ne prennent pas la peine d'appeler, et Expedia, où nous avons fait la réservation, ne donne même aucune information. Un endroit très douteux ; mieux vaut éviter cette étape. Au final, cela nous a coûté 148 €, et il s'est avéré qu'il y avait un très bon motel à 500 mètres. Cet endroit est un désastre ; évitez-le à tout prix."
