The house itself was beautiful, but the management could use improvement. Small inconveniences piled up quickly. For example, there was no Wi-Fi code provided upon arrival (or in the VRBO app), and since cell reception was minimal, we had to leave the property just to contact management. It took them several hours to respond, so we kept having to step out to check for updates. In addition, the front door lock didn’t function properly, leaving us no choice but to keep the property unlocked. We were only there for one night, but it was a lot of frustration packed into a short stay.

The mountain view was gorgeous! This was my first time in the Rocky Mountain mountain range and being from New Jersey at only 45 feet above sea level, you can imagine this was quite different scenery than I am used to.

Great Stay!

We stayed off season to visit family. The beds were so comfortable. We had all age groups along from great grandma down to 2 year olds. Everyone had space and enjoyed this property together. Plenty of hot water for all of us in the evenings. Property managers were very responsive and helpful. The location was great with the kids, little to no traffic and quiet neighborhood but still easy to get to. There were kid friendly things in the house (baby gate, Pack N Play, Highchair, etc.) We would happily recommend staying here in the future.

Family friendly with convenient access

Great layout and comfortable for our family (ages 6 to 68). So easy to access the mountain for skiing and boarding. Easy to park up to 4 cars and still have room to store skis in the garage. Loved being able to watch our family ski and board out of the back windows and off of the deck. Amazing location with great restaurant at Granby Ranch.

Great overall

We truly had a great time. The view was great, location was excellent, furnishings was good. Overall we enjoyed our time. We would recommend going back to this place. It was great to be a short distance to many trails, lakes and fun. Worth checking out for sure!

Amazing

This home is absolutely fantastic! The communication is great and there was nothing the home was lacking for a family of 11 to enjoy the mountains. The location to the ski slope is unreal and such a bonus! We walked honestly about 30 yards and then could put our skis on before skiing down to the base. I cannot say enough great things about the home. We comfortably fit our three families into the four bedrooms and enjoyed the fire after long ski days. The view of the mountains cannot be fully appreciated in pictures. It is an amazing home.

Downstairs bedroom

When I read previous reviews about the downstairs mattress, I thought it would have been replaced. My daughter and son in law couldn’t both sleep in the bed as they rolled to the center. Found mice drippings on the downstairs bedroom floor. My son in law vacuumed the basement bedroom floor. Very disappointed that the mattress wasn’t replaced prior to our arrival.

Multi-Family Vacation

Our two families traveled to this beautiful home for a weekend getaway. We spent an entire day just relaxing at the house enjoying the beautiful views from the front deck! We all enjoyed the pool table and hot tub and will definitely be returning for another stay one day! Absolutely recommend this home to anyone wanting a quiet getaway with the best Mountain View’s! Short drive to RMNP made the perfect little day trip to explore.

House needed to be deep cleaned.

Bedding in the basement was not clean. Sheets in the dryer were mildewed. Not enough towels for 7people. Floors were not clean. It needs a deep clean. Picture fell off the wall and hit our friend in the head.

A true ski in/ski out property

This was our first time to visit Granby Ranch and we loved our time here! This property was in a great location, right next to the run that took you to the main lift. So convenient! The house itself was clean and spacious, with a big area downstairs for the kids to hang out, separate from the adults. We had one minor maintenance issue that the owners were quick to respond to and it didn’t affect our stay at all.

We stayed here as for a multi family ski trip! Great layout with 4 bedrooms AND 4 bathrooms. Easy ski in ski out. Quiet street/neighborhood with plenty of parking. Excellent communication with property manager when we had questions....mostly IT related...wifi/cable. House had everything we needed.

We could watch our boys skiing while relaxing in the hot tub

We stay in rental homes quite often. This is one of the only ones that I can say looks and feels exactly like it is represented on the website. It is a beautiful house. Super clean! The gas fireplace and Christmas tree made it feel just the perfect amount of coziness for our son's 17th birthday with a few of his friends. They were all able to hang out downstairs in the basement where we could hear them, but they still had their privacy. They were also able to all sleep in the basement. The bedrooms on the main level were on opposite ends of the house which offered more privacy, as well. The boys enjoyed playing pool, and the tv had hook-ups for their X-box. They tried the hot tub, but I think it's difficult for the hot tub to stay truly hot when it's near freezing temperatures outside. I enjoyed it, though. This home is the second or third house from the slopes by the Base Camp. We could see the boys get on the lifts and ski by while we relaxed in the hot tub. The Granby Ranch Ski Resort and homes are just a 5-minute drive from the grocery store and other amenities in town. Both the front door and garage door have large, tiled areas where the boys could come in and take off their boots and ski gear. The laundry room is right inside the garage door. This was a great stay! Thank you!

Nice Location

The location was awesome for ski in/out. Loved that the house was big and room to spread out. There was a lot of cob webs and dust on vents and light fixtures. The rugs didn’t seem clean. Disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub on the first night bc it was cold. More hooks and a bench in entry way would help for hanging coats and a place to put boots on. More kitchen towels and atleast a couple boxes of Kleenex would have been nice. It’s very dark in the bunk room not having an overhead light. Overall was a great place to stay and would go back!

Wedding Getaway Weekend!

Great house to share with family! Rooms are separated and on opposite sides, which makes it easy to have space/ sleep well. Shared areas were a lot of fun and very spacious! It was a little further off the main road than expected, but still a great place! would book here again!
