Pas trop mal
Endroit calme, chambre très spacieuse et très jolie, bon restaurant. En revanche piscine pas très bien entretenue, idem pour pas mal de choses dans la chambre ( ex: stores archaïques) personnel sympathique mais assez nonchalant

Very Nice.
The room is like a small appartment and it was the Classic One. Each part of the bathroom is separated. Shover, bathtube,toilets...the décoration is wonderful. Breakfast and dinner are great. Super place to stay. Nice garden and close to the Beach.

Décevant !
Décevant ! Une chambre dite suite exécutive de luxe en fait une pièce en rez-de chaussee visible par tous , un escalier vers une chambre où les toilettes sont dans une salle de bain sans mur ni porte . Même pas un shampoing , odeurs dans la douche .

Der aktuelle Zustand entspricht in keinster Weise den Abbildungen. Das Hotel ist dermaßen in die Jahre gekommen, ein düsteres Loch, das Personal tut das nötigste, und die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist zwar grob da, aber im Detail findet man Schimmel oder verdreckt Gegenstände. Die Lage ist gut, nicht weit weg vom Strand. Ich kann nur abraten dort einzustecken

I’m sorry to say this hotel fell short of everything you would expect. When we arrived the room we were allocated was dark and dirty. There was a chair in the corner was was stained and smelled gross. A small piece of paper on the bed advising the power wad going off at 10pm for 2.5 hours and a light provided. I went to the very friendly staff on reception and advised I would not be staying. They were apologetic and admitted some rooms need attention. I accepted a move of room and sincerely wish I had not. Although it was marginally better it still wasn’t clean. On return from our meal in a nearby restaurant by Uber as it isn’t safe to walk after 7pm as promised the power went out at 10pm. Our emergency light did not come on and the room was pitch black. We managed by chance to locate the security guard who helped us with the temporary light. We then discovered our door didn’t lock properly. The security guard then said don’t worry you can call if you need me or are worried. The phone didn’t work. I don’t like leaving a bad review but I have to be honest. Don’t waste your time here go to one of the bigger chain hotels nearby that are only a fraction more expensive.

Unser Zimmer war wirklich hervorragend, das Personal sehr nett. Wir waren in diesem Urlaub in vielen Hotels und haben anderswo besseres Frühstück bekommen, da geht noch was. Aber das soll jetzt nicht heißen, dass es schlecht war, lediglich könnte es im verhältnis eben noch besser werden.

Stället var bara 200 meter från stranden. Avskilda rum utan insikt. Gratis inomhusgarage. Stor gästfrihet och varmt välkomnande.

Stunning Singa Stay
Great amazing rooms. The space is to die for. The deco in the rooms , stunning. Breakfast however not a buffet, but they made pancakes when we asked even though not in menu. Great friendly staff

The lodge is beautiful and in a quite place. I was not happy with our room, it did not have separate beds for the kids. the mattress they provided for the kids reeked of urine, eventually the whole room was affected by the smell. The toilet had no privacy (closed door). Their bedding had a damp like smell, not good at all for my sinuses.

Engelbrecht's stay
We arrived there late and received a warm welcome. Over the 3 days the staff were always friendly and helpful. The suite was very spacious.

Somewhat disappointed
The staff are all incredibly welcoming and friendly. However, I was completely surprised to find, that during the inconvenience if loadshedding, this establishment is not fitted with a generator! To be honest I expect this as a min in South Africa where load shedding is a regular occurrence. There was a very strong smell of sewage emanating from the toilet! And the room was very dark (even with the lights on and during daylight). Overall, unfortunately, I found it just a bit shabby..

Lovely 2 night stay with my teenage kids in an executive suite, more than enough space for all of us. The hotel staff went out of there way to accommodate us and even packed an early morning breakfast for us, 6:30am pickup. Will definitely be back

We stayed in Singa Lodge for the half Ironman in Port Elizabeth. The hotel was perfect, an oasis in the city. The staff couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. There were so many nice touches, especially the good bags for those racing on the morning of the race.

Exceptional Staff
We stayed for three nights. The hotel was great, we had a beautiful room with african decoration. Breakfast, as well as dinner was great. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and helped us with every need. We enjoyed it very much.

Quirky, near the beach.
Very quirky property, lots of Indonesian influences in the design, a bit unusual having the bath and shower in the bedroom.

Convenient for the airport
Felt it a bit dated and tired. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The menu for dinner was very limited and food was average. The parking facilities are also very limited and there was no secure parking for us. Our room was clean but no privacy as you could see into the room with the blinds down, the outside lights also shone into the room which we felt was a bit annoying during the night.

You can tell this hotel was lovely about 10 years ago, and has been left to fall slowly into dis-repair. There was nothing unpleasant about our stay, other than the breakfast and gelatinous poached eggs. There are so many other lovely boutique hotels in South Africa, I would pass this one up and find another.

Um 4.45 Uhr ging die Musik an und ab 7 Uhr unterhielt sich das Personal, was so laut erschien, als würde es im Zimmer stehen. Katastrophal!
