'The bungalow was well appointed and clean. However the bathroom had some mould on the tiles, and on the non slip bath mat . Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. We were really pleased to be moved there after the flat we had booked was dirty and stank of cigarette smoke. That flat should not be on your books.'

'We spent two weeks in this lovely cottage. It was very peaceful and quiet. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially the homemade bread. Tim, the owner,, made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful large garden. on our return from a day out.On the last day our ferry had been cancelled and Tim was there to help us. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.'

'Accommodation was fine, clean and had hardly any issues. But just a few comments. We are both in our mid 70's and my wife having had recent back surgery had a lot of difficulty climbing and descending 4 flights of very narrow stairs. Even I had trouble with them and I do not have big feet but I had to go down sideways. I am surprised they meet building standards. Could definitely do with a printed welcome pack in the room to get guests started with the amenities, there were no instructions for...

'Brilliant House, in a great location, and all ten of us had a wonderful holiday!However, as we booked for Christmas week, we paid a large premium, and didn’t expect to find stained sofas with rips in, and essentially a lot of wear and tear (this is not the place to list them, but think dirty blinds etc) that should not be in a property sold as “luxury”.
