« There was someone in our room when we got there. Since there isn't a manager on site, it took awhile to get ahold of the owners to get another room. They did put us in the larger room at no extra cost, though, so that was nice. »

« This is a hidden gem in the Texas hill country! John and Karen have gone above and beyond as top notch hosts! They have thought of every single detail inside and outside. Just pack your clothes and go! If you love beautiful, country living, on a awesome ranch, then this place if for you. If you find an open weekend when the cabin is not booked, consider yourself lucky! I foresee this place being booked a year in advance as word gets out and the reviews of 10/10 keep coming in! « Very nice and well located. Wi-Fi and tvs great. Clean and although didn’t check everything seemed ok. Bathroom sink faucets not working but it was to be taken care of. Online listing pretty accurate but check in at 4 instead of 3 and didn’t get check in info until a few hours before checking in not 3 days before that I’d read which led to anxious moments for me. Listing said sleeps six but only the bedroom bed and sofa bed. We brought a blowup air mattress which worked fine. Overall a wonderful...

« A charming older, and slightly funky (in a good way) house off a dirt road in the country. We loved it! So quiet and peaceful. A short drive into the cute town of San Saba. Would definitely stay again, if I'm in the area. The host was very accomodating. »
