Very pretty villa on two floors placed right next to a small rice field. Another much larger is located right in front which unfortunately leads to mosquitoes at night. Remember to close your windows and your door before the night otherwise you will be entitled to bites. The food is quite generous but the service is very long and prices much more expensive than in Negombo. Three times more expensive for fries as an example. The bedroom is comfortable and has two medium sized beds...
« This was one of the highlights of my month long travels in Sri Lanka. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the glamping tents are stunning and the host canât do enough for you. The traditional food served was some of the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka and the attention to detail with service was unmatched.
10/10 recommend for a quiet getaway amongst nature.

« We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area...
« Wow, what an experience. When we pulled up into the camp, there was an elephant just there (a tusker no less). The standards were consistently high from there. We were well looked after by the manager Ravi, with impeccable service throughout. My wife's gluten free requirement being well looked after. The views are stunning, the food was great. At camp we sat and watched birds, and beyond seeing an elephant we saw a leopard just crossing the road outside! Before going to bed... Shine a torch into...
« Outstanding small villa recently renovated and styled in a very tasteful and relaxing design. We loved it. Communication via WhatsApp with the ownerâs daughter was prompt, efficient and with excellent English. She organised our safari, which went smoothly (and the driver was excellent).
Upon arrival, we were met by the very charming Anusha who was a lively presence during our short, one-night stay. She and her husband prepared a really delicious dinner, which we had after a quick dip in the...
« Very nice place for hair relaxing and enjoying the resort with a few birds, monkeys, squirrels and butterflies. Loved the place. Thanks to the manager Yomal for looking after me. I will come back again. đ »
« Makini Bush Camp is an absolute gem in Yala! The stunning tented rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comforts you could wish for, including a refreshing plunge poolâperfect for cooling off after a walk in the bush.
The staff goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay, accommodating a range of experiences, including a half-day safari inside the park and a delightful nature walk around the camp. Our guide, Mr. Koushalya, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate...
« The hotel is at the border of the jungle. Not rare to see wild animals. Very nice rooms, spacious with big terrasse. Impressive bathroom. Personnel kind, smiling and willing to serve you. The food is good. Very good experience for me, my wife and our friends. »
