'It’s a cute little cabin. The furniture was comfy and so was the bed. The only problem we had was that it got very cold in the living room and we couldn’t find extra blankets. Other than that, it was a great stay. '

'Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils that made cooking meals easy. It was comfortable, clean and peaceful. I will definitely stay there again the...

'We had a lovely stay here at the cozy hideaway. The cabin was adorable, clean, and well designed. Having the pond and the animals around was such a fun experience. Our favorite part had to be all of the cats that greeted us when we arrived and joined us at the fire pit and the pond. We would love to stay here again and recommend this host and property!'

'We stayed at Black Ridge for our spring break, coming from West Virginia, and it was amazing! The inside of the cabin was even better than we expected, very clean, and most basic amenities were already provided for! It’s not to far from most places, like garden of the gods and cave-in-rock; and, exploring the forest behind it as college students was great, and we found plenty of things to take home with us. '
