« I would never go there again owner was staying vin room behind my room thin walls and ironing board was leaning against our wall and it got knocked by movement on the access door adjoining room 2 as we were placed in room 1 . Owner prince stated that our cabin was not ready so we up graded. Feeling uneasy about the situation we the owner prince was sitting on his lap top in the next room to us »

« The layout and furnishings are basic and definitely not worth $229/night. The hot water ran out after 5 minutes, so that was pooh. Of the dozens of BNB stays, this was the only one that we felt ripped off by and think a $100 should be refunded. 😠 »

« Incredible views! Fantastic hosts. Peaceful stay only 9 minutes from all the conveniences of Gisborne. You could learn a lot from the hosts who wear many hats - and run a great bnb experience. « We had a lovely stay at this cute and warm accommodation, our pets were allowed to stay with us which was fantastic, our host was so nice and gave us a tour of her property and introduced us to her array of animals too . So many supplies for our stay were available to us if we were hungry, thank you so much ch we hope to stay at Galahads again soon 😊 »

« We had a fabulous stay at Rooksedge, our room "the Mitch" was beautiful and had everything we needed including our favourite amenity which was the fireplace. It was impossible to not feel relaxed and at peace. Great escape from the city and also close enough to town to grab any bits and pieces if needed. We also loved that we could take our beautiful doggo with us that enjoyed everything just as much as we did. »

« The property deserves its name! The views are brilliant - From Sunrise to Sunset and even deep into the night! The bedrooms we comfy & appointed well - each with great views! It was great to have a separate TV room for the teens which wasn't in the main family area! Outdoor entertaining areas & garden were wonderful all all 2 legged and the 4 legged family members.
