'Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail.'

Adorable outside setup for lounging, a massive hot tub to float around in, a friendly ginger chicken to keep us company, super quiet AND a quick walk to the nearby beach! 'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening.
