Retraite privée offrant solitude et détente

Bienvenue dans la rĂ©serve de Cedar Springs. La propriĂ©tĂ© est de 170 acres et entoure 398 acres de lac peu profond et de terres humides. Si vous aimez pĂȘcher, il y a des perches et des crapets Ă  taquiner hors des lis, mais vous devrez travailler dur pour les trouver.

Il y a beaucoup d'animaux sauvages. Fabuleux tube de riviÚre à quelques minutes. Un chef privé professionnellement formé est également disponible.

Canoës et kayaks disponibles. L'ensemble de l'installation est en cours de rénovation, attendez-vous à de nouveaux tapis, luminaires et appareils électroménagers.

L'espace
Répartissez-vous dans une confortable chambre principale avec lit king size, TV, placard et salle de bain attenante. Une deuxiÚme chambre queen vous attend avec un placard complet, une télévision et sa propre porte extérieure. La "Hardy Boy Room" comprend deux lits jumeaux, un bureau et un placard. Il y a une mezzanine avec deux lits jumeaux supplémentaires. Nous ajoutons constamment des touches finales, nous nous excusons donc, tous les domaines ne sont pas encore terminés. Nous ajouterons des photos au cours des prochaines semaines, différentes zones sont terminées.

Le salon est à aire ouverte, avec foyer au gaz et télévision par satellite et donne sur une grande terrasse.

Notre maison dispose désormais d'un son surround avec Bluetooth afin que vous puissiez jouer vos propres morceaux et qu'ils sonneront bien.

Les clients peuvent avoir la gestion complĂšte de la propriĂ©tĂ©, Ă  l'exception des garages de stockage oĂč nous gardons notre Ă©quipement. Il y a une tente Ă  l'extĂ©rieur oĂč nous gardons notre tas de bois pour nos matĂ©riaux de construction, veuillez demander aux enfants de s'en tenir Ă  l'Ă©cart. Par exemple, nous n'avons pas annoncĂ© un grand bar / vĂ©randa sur lequel on travaille mais pas encore prĂȘt Ă  ĂȘtre occupĂ©.

Autres choses Ă  noter
Notre endroit n'est pas encore parfait Ă  100%, car il existe de nombreux Ă©quipements prĂ©vus que nous travaillons toujours dur pour terminer. La vĂ©randa n'est pas terminĂ©e, le quai a encore besoin d'amĂ©liorations et le bain Ă  remous / pavillon est toujours en construction. Le bain Ă  remous fonctionne, n'a tout simplement pas encore le pavillon que nous modifions, fonctionnel mais pas trĂšs "beau". Il y a une tente Ă  l'extĂ©rieur oĂč nous gardons le bois sur lequel nous travaillons (tout le bois que nous utilisons provient de la propriĂ©tĂ© et doit ĂȘtre coupĂ© et sciĂ©, pelĂ© Ă  la main, vous verrez donc beaucoup de choses en cours)

We came to Gillette for the Roy Hubbard Memorial Truck Show. Location was awesome. The home is beautiful but way to many cobwebs and could of left a couple more rolls of toilet paper. Having access to the row boat was fun. To bad the weather wasn't great but the family time was. Thank you

Secluded getaway

We enjoyed the property and our time there. It was secluded and very private. Cabin was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had most of the items we needed for our stay. Spent some time near Shawno swimming at the beach and did some hiking at Shute Pond. Lots of great places to eat nearby.

Weekend Stay

Property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay in the Shawano area. Turning off the highway onto the gravel road and traveling between the neighboring farms, we didn't know what to expect, but quickly found ourselves among the trees and next to the water for a secluded and private stay. The house itself was constructed and is well cared for and loved by the host's family - it was really cool to see pictures of their efforts in the guest book. The hosts were communicative as necessary, but also left us to enjoy our stay in peace.

We would stay here again!

We visited this property in July which is peak horsefly season so we were unable to explore and experience as much as we would like but we still had a blast. Pros: Nicely decorated bedrooms with comfy beds with amazing sheets, large, functional kitchen, Indoor and outdoor hammocks, hot tub, several grills, campfire area with wood and chairs, secluded yard with trails and access to kayaks on Christy Lake, much seating for watching tv, playing games or relaxing with a book(4 seasons addition is awesome), extra supplies throughout house, dog friendly! Cons: We did book during peak time of summer but feel the cottage was not very clean(master shower and kitchen sink were not cleaned and dishwasher was full) and we started with 1 towel in each bathroom(we did find the extras). Bin for hot tub towels was empty as well. The kitchen is great but the utensils are old and flimsy. Not great options to do dishes manually other than old Hand towels. The kitchen is huge but most of the cupboards are full with supplies for the projects and cleaning supplies, a bit disorganized. There is a table top ice maker because the fridge one was broke, had to use bottled water because the water is gross tasting. There are areas of covered supplies for the cottage renovation projects that were easy to get around but we found lots of garbage throughout the property as well. Master bathroom is nice with a double sink vanity but the shower is super small And terrible showerhead, other shower was great!

July 10 - July 14, 2024 (Crissy’s Bday weekend)

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and secluded. Lots of amenities and thoughtful details throughout to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pictures don't do this property justice. There's private access to a lake with kayaks for fun. There's a small boat too, but we found the kayaks easier to maneuver around the lily pads. There's also a private hot tub that's perfect for starting your day, or finishing it off. We had such a grateful time here and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away from city life, it's very quiet, clean, and disconnected. Warning, the wifi is very bad (they recognize this upfront) so just be aware. It's nice to stay in touch with family and friends, but because it's such a remote location, I guess this remains a challenge. Thank you Jim and Yana for sharing this diamond in the rough with all of us.

Wonderful northern getaway

Cabin property was just as advertised. Great getaway with homey touches of full kitchen and outdoor gas grill on the deck. We had beautiful weather and spent much of our time relaxing at cabin, kayaking on lake, or taking short adventures to places like Shawano Lake County Park or Cathedral Pines Nature Preserve. Each evening we topped off by watching the sunset and listening to frogs at our own bonfire with s'mores. Afterwards, we relaxed in the hot tub before heading in for the night. Look forward to visiting the place again and seeing what new features are added to the place!

Winter Getaway

We had a lovely time! We wanted a private weekend to relax and that's exactly what we got. The dogs loved to romp around the property and we loved the warm fireplace and hot tub to come back to. You could feel the home was built with love and care and made for the perfect weekend!

Came up to race at the Shawano kart track

My family and I came up for the weekend to practice on the kart track to get ready for nationals. The location was perfect, the cabin was beautiful, couldn’t have pictured a better place. We had a blast kayaking, hanging out in the hot tub and my two boys (ages 12 and 8) loved the hammock and sleeping upstairs in the loft. Wonderful interaction with Jim, very quick to reply and we had everything we needed. Hopefully we can stay again sometime time!

Another year at this wonderful Home. Stayed 7 nights and 8 days and snowmobiled all the time. It's a perfect location with quick access to the NST and Christie Lake. It's location for eats is PERFECT too. Everyone must visit the Washington Inn Supper Club in Cecil, awesome food and great drinks. When at the property you have everything though, you need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner
.. done get pan, pot, etc. it’s right there for yah. Everything is always clean and comfortable. We had a bonfire, listened to music, laughed and drank, (It was 5 degrees out that day) played cards and ran the gas fireplace. It was a great trip... Hats off Jim and Yana thanks again for the great stay!
