I hope this helps the property owner as well as potential renters. The positives, the property owner was very good about responding to messages. But, there are several things that need addressing. Check in was stressful because of the parking situation. There are signs posted all over that you can be towed if registration is not done. The online system would not let me register for the appropriate length of time. The owner said to park on the street to be safe from towing. Parking on the street would have been a huge inconvenience and I would have been nervous about my suburban being hit on such a busy, narrow street. I figured out that I just had to keep registering my vehicle, each time it expired. The town house was mostly clean but “luxury” is a huge mis- representation. The comforter in the master smelled liked bad body odor. There was no trash can in the kitchen, the place you need it most. They provided trash bags, so it just had to sit on the floor the whole time. I also did not feel good about disposal. The shed on the property, next to the old couch (that needs to be disposed of) is where we were told to take the trash to. It was filled with trash, I presume from previous renters? I opted to leave our trash secured, on the kitchen floor because it had food waste in it. I did not want it to attract animals or cause bad smells. Since it appeared it would be a long time before it was taken away. The biggest challenge was that the air conditioner was not working.
