'The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.'

'Prima kamer voor een nacht'

'This was a quiet break for my wife and I in a nicely presented hotel. The staff were helpful and polite'

'The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it.'

'Dichtbij het strand en winkelstraatjes. Dichtbij het javentje en bus- en treinstation. Gezellige hotel met vriendelijk personeel en elk avond is er een live optreden.'

'Friendly staff.'

'erg goed! vriendelijk netjes en verzorgd. Makkelijk bereikbaar goed ontbijt.'

'The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain.'

'Nice property in a great location. The beech and pubs are only a few minutes walk away. Needs a bit of TLC, one kitchen cupboard has come away from its adjacent unit, freezer drawers broken handles and both bathroom hand towel and toilet roll holders are loose. The kitchen could be better equipped, e.g. needs some digital scales, some bowels better for cereal, new saucepans and a sieve. Only one fan was provided, in a heatwave this wasn't enough - I did contact the letting agency, but had no...
