« This was a very old hotel. The flooring in the room had many gaps and was peeling from the bottom. The bathroom sink was very small, and did not have a stopper. The small refrigerator was quite noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean. I would only recommend this for the budget traveler. »

« This was my halfway-ish stop on a trip from St. Louis, MO to Mayo. I needed a comfortable room for one night that wouldn’t break my budget, and this hotel delivered. The room was clean and comfortable, and the free hot breakfast was great! « The clerk at check in was nice. They even checked our room to see if it was done to let us in a bit early. They said the room was done but we found someone ice cream cones in the fridge, the bathtub had lots of hair in it that was not ours, the shower cur6was really dirty and needed washed. We tried to turn on the TV. It didn't work, tried to call front desk to tell them, phone didn't work, toilet was broken and ran after flushing it (unless you jiggled the handle). « Expedia reservations made at Hampton are treated with rudeness when the manager Jack says "Oh this is a 3rd party reservation and there is nothing I can do to help you with anything at all!" They made no attempt to assist us with a late (next day) arrival on a 2 night stay. We called the Hampton directly and of course the policy is a penalty of the one night but then Hampton cancelled the reservation and treated my wife very coldly when she arrived the next day.
