« Helpful staff , excellent room »

« We've got handi room and we are not handi. Why ? Hôtel is ok for the price. »

« The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Pub had a lovely atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. »

« The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. Nobody told us how to exit the building in an emergency and when we left the next morning at 9.45 we had to let ourselves out and leave the keys on the bar having seen no one! « The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. « Well presented with table service very nice »

« Un bel établissement avec des chambres très bien entretenue, décoration à l’ancienne. Le bar et restaurant permettent d’en profiter encore plus. »

« Very friendly wellcoming. Lovely breakfest and diner. To much disturbed by a kitchen fan wich makes a lot of noice at night. Some night he wasn't turned off. He went on hole night. »

« A charming, clean and well kept property. Very comfortable bed and superb breakfast. A warm welcome, helpful and friendly owners. »

« Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs. »

« Very nice, big room. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom. Lovely pub. Great cooked breakfast. Friendly, good value for money. »

« The apartment was exceptionally clean, Close to the shops , parking a little tight with a larger car , had a lovely stay »

« Quiet comfy large room. Food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. »

« Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par la jeune dame, et nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme à la maison. L'ambiance du pub est incroyablement conviviale, avec des locaux discutant joyeusement. C'est l'incarnation même du cosy anglais. Notre chambre était un véritable havre de paix. Elle était impeccablement propre, décorée avec goût dans un style moderne et épuré et offrait une vue à couper le souffle sur les collines verdoyantes. Le lit était confortable, et après une...
