'Had everything we needed to cook in the evenings, comfy bed, nice welcome touches (biscuits etc). Great base to climb Snowdon, visit Bangor or Betws-y-Coed. Good communications before and during our stay from the owner and as we were staying for ten nights, Kerri even offered to change the towels and bedding if we needed them changed.'

'We loved our stay at Felin uchaf. Really lovely hosts! Beautiful and very well equiped cottage. Great location for visits to Snowdonia/Anglesy and the coastal area. One smaldrawback to us is that the cottage is directly located next to the mainroad. If that doesn't bother you, then you have found yourself an excellent place to stay!'

'Excellent position right on the sea front at Criccieth and we found it easy to find a place to park on the road in front. The exterior of the building is not in the best state. Inside the apartment was clean and bright with stunning sea views from both the living area and bedroom windows. Provisions were basic and we were only provided with one bath towel each for a 5 night stay, which is not enough. Unfortunately, we were disturbed by long periods of noise and heavy footsteps from people...

I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.'

'Everything was fine and plenty of parking. Wine and cakes to greet us! The mobile home is tight (e.g. narrow doors - compared to a normal home) but this was expected, even for a big van. Nevertheless, plenty big enough for three of us. Owners could not be more helpful. Great hosts.
