« We had a very peaceful & enjoyable weekend. You can walk down to town to get a GREAT lower body workout as downhill there & uphill back!! Back yard is nice to sit, relax, have a drink and talk!! »

« Facilities exceeded expectations with two items. 1. A lot of the lighting on the lower level did not work. 2. The ice cube maker in the refrigerator would not stop making cubes. Cubes were jammed to the top of the cube compartment. »

The weather did not cooperate with our outdoor plans for the remainder of the weekend but we were set with board games, movies, and some quick hiking trails nearby. »

« This home was so well maintained. I love the little things like having everything labeled and instructions for the heating and cooling system. We also appreciated the quality of the kitchen/cooking tools (pots/pans etc.) and the mattress. This house lacked absolutely nothing! The owner kept great contact with us. We really enjoyed this home. »

« We haven't been to Galena since 2019 and we were eager to visit a wonderful area of Illinois. We weren't disappointed with our visit starting off with Ginger's wonderful, secluded home. The property was as described and worthy of the 200+ ten-star reviews. Having 3 bedrooms, each with their separate bathrooms was perfect for the 3 couples that comprised our party. Firepit, BBQ grill and all the appliances were in working condition and enjoyed by all! Didn't have the opportunity to use the hot...

« This place was very nice and cozy. We had a little mix up when we first arrived but the owner and cleaning lady were really nice and great and got things taken care of right away which we appreciated. The trails are super close and we took our dogs on lots of walks. The location was very close to the golf resort if you’re a golfer and just to drive around the scenery was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Stayed here for a long weekend in beautiful Galena! Fur baby was welcomed & the townhouse had everything from a kennel, leash, bowls etc! We loved the golf course and the clubhouse! Will was so receptive for any questions! We plan to come back in a few months! We literally felt at home. Thank you Will for sharing your beautiful home & allowing our dog to be with us. »
