'The Poland Spring Resort is not your typical golfing resort. It feels more like an old fashioned resort with a camp kind of experience. It would be a good place for family and group gatherings providing golf for the adults while providing games and outdoor activities for the kids. The rooms are scattered among various historical buildings throughout the property with the Maine Inn being the main location. 'The hotel smells extremely damp soon as you walk in. The stairs at the entrance look like they haven’t been vacuumed in months. Upon going into the room we all felt as though we could barely breathe. There was black mold all over the walls, seeping through the wallpaper. Holes all over the door around the handle. Long black hair stuck to bathroom wall on the left when you walk in. Also gross splatter of something on the bathroom wall near the black hair. Outdated register in bathroom paint...

'This is a newly renovated hotel. It was great! The beds and pillows were super comfy. Overall the room was really comfortable. The staff was kind and seemed to be genuinely excited about the renovations and the new branding under Hilton. Would stay here again! Just 20 minutes away from Portland.'
