Partez en week-end dans un appart'hôtel à French Island

« When I arrived to check in there were no rooms available. I had messaged the VRBO owner to let him know that I would not be arriving until 11:30 pm and he said it would be fine. When i arrived the hotel was out of rooms and it was incredibly dirty. I have tried contacting the VRBO owner and he has said he will look into it. I had to pay an extreme amount to stay at another hotel on graduation weekend. »

« I booked this room because the photos looked decent. Boy was I wrong. I showed up and the lobby was about 40 degrees. Started the check in process and the card door things were broken. So none of the door locks worked, which also means you could just walk into any room, also that means if we left, anyone could walk into our room. It took 20 mins for them to find a room for us. We go in and they had not cleaned the bathroom, pee stains on toilet, no towels, burn holes in all the furniture. I went...

« Friendly staff. The pool is nice and clean, same for the meeting room and the patio outside. It’s quite comfortable and feel safe. Rooms follow the same idea and AC work well. A really nice hotel for short or long stay. »

« The staff was welcoming. We were greeted with some very fine chocolates. The room was excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. We had a snack and a drink in the bar area and service was outstanding. The day we left we had a little time to kill and read in the parlor next to a cozy fireplace sipping toddies. « When staying near La Crosse or Sparta i would definitely recommend. The lodge feel is great, the gym is pretty sad. There are towels but two treadmills and freeweights and no water. Overall great value still and would stay again for sure. »

« Room was fine. Great location downtown. If the parking lot is full, you can park in the ramp next door for free. General upkeep is lacking. Light bulbs burnt out, caulk cracking, no stoppers in the drains. »
