Welcome to The Cottage, presented by Porch Light Hospitality. This beautifully renovated 1930s German guesthouse combines midcentury-modern style with modern amenities, nestled on a family-owned homestead in Fredericksburg, Texas. As one of six unique guesthouses in "The Gathering," The Cottage offers a serene escape just minutes from the vibrant Main Street.

Experience ultimate relaxation with a standing tub beside a double-sided fireplace and a private courtyard featuring a hot tub and outdoor TV. The Cottage is designed for comfort and tranquility, ensuring a memorable stay.

Excellent Customer Service

The property was beautiful and quiet, yet close to down town area. Perfect spot for a couple getaway. There was an issue when we checked in with the hot tub, but we contacted support. They responded quickly.The issue was fixed quickly, without any disruption to our stay. Thanks. Would stay here again.

Anniversary get away

Nice, peaceful setting away from the downtown area which we loved. Enjoyed the private area with the hot tub and patio. Bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. Would suggest adding a few chairs to the back of the property to sit and enjoy the wooded area, just beautiful!

We loved our stay here here. We had everything we needed, and it was just beautiful! We only had one night here (I wish it was two!) so we made sure to enjoy everything! The hot tub in our private courtyard was fun, and we made a little fire too, and enjoyed our show streaming while in the hot tub. The courtyard was also a secure place to park our ebikes, which was a great bonus. The shower was immaculate and the standing tub with the fireplace was just beautiful! That tub is huge too! I slept like a baby in that bed, extremely comfortable. They whole place was so immaculately clean, it seemed brand new.

Such a cute, tucked away quiet place to stay. We booked for our 20 year anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. We only had one issue with the lights coming on outside but that didn't stop us from enjoying the time out there before it got too dark.

Was nestled among a few other rental spots. Bit close, but other than that everything was amazing. Nice little spot, jacuzzi, TV out side! Fireplace, all of it added up to a nice little stay for us as we passed through the town. Was very close to down town as well.

Our favorite HomeAway ever

This is not only our favorite place in Fredericksburg, but it is the best HomeAway rental we've ever stayed in. We've stayed twice now, and this time spent most of our time in the cottage, just hanging out with each other and enjoying the amenities! The staff is helpful and responsive. Can't recommend it enough! We can't wait to go back next Christmas.
