'Beautiful hotel, great location. There are amazing views. Staff is very kind. They have ice and water refill stations. Good food options in the hotel though a bit higher priced but not anything abnormal for hotels.'

'I love this hotel. It's brand new. The property is very nice-clean and stylish. The (gorgeous) staff is so sweet. They took amazing care of me. My room was very nice-clean, conteporary and with a nice view. I also really liked the iced coffee and sandwhich Jamilah made me in the breakfast/lunch cafe! I would definitely stay again if I return to D.C.'

'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '

Not only is it luxurious and friendly, but you'll find at least 5 taxis by it at any time (a definite plus when certain Metro lines are being repaired). Added bonus: the signature house fragrance is unspeakably delicious. You will love your stay here!'

'Nice room, pretty hotel. Lots of construction in the area at this time. This is the second time we’ve stayed, and the second time I’ve received random charges on my credit card that I had to ask about. During this stay we couldn't check in until 4:30 given a glitch in their system ( the room was ready but the front desk couldn’t “release it”). A couple of minutes turned into 30. '

'Literally home away from home! This hostel/hotel is made up of three converted walk-ups. There are hostel-style rooms with multiple beds, and there are hotel-style rooms with bed and full bathroom. The room I stayed in had a very tall window that could be opened. Logistically speaking: there is a Safeway within a few blocks that’s open late. If you prefer Trader Joe’s, that’s an easy walk in the other direction. Two large refrigerator/freezers will accommodate your groceries, which you label...
