Positief: Netheid, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We had a nice clean room on the 1st floor with an ocean view, but from 8-5 the view was mostly obscured by 3 rows of large umbrellas all across the hotel property for people to rent. Staff were not unfriendly but they didn’t seem eager to please either, and some were indifferent. It is a very noisy hotel, with music going from 10-9 and it’s very loud (we couldn’t sit in our balcony when it was cranked up). Had I known this was party central when I was booking I would not have booked here since I prefer a less noisy experience. There were a lot of amenities like a pool, bars, a few restaurants, and tables to sit just off the beach. No outdoor beach shower that I could see though which was strange. The biggest issue for us was to be informed at check in that in addition to paying a resort fee of $20/day on top of our room rate we had to pay $20/day to park, which also should have been disclosed at booking. This parking fee doesn’t guarantee a spot though, even with overflow parking across the street. There was a kiosk across the street for the public to pay to park there also, so one night we came back from dinner and there were no available spots to park. We driver around for a while before finally finding someone who was leaving and took that spot. I don’t think I should pay to park at a resort that I’m spending a lot to stay and spending additional money already, and I certainly don’t think I should pay and not be guaranteed parking space. I wouldn’t go back here.
