The 'Ultimate Beach House' is the perfect house for a beach getaway or family reunion . Our house is a one of a kind beach house built in the early 1960s and was remodeled in 2014 and is unlike any other house in Ft. Lauderdale. Voted best beach house in Los Olas on the beach. It is a "5 level" beach cottage that has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, dining room with seating for 12, living room, and breakfast area with seating for 4. There is a great bunk room downstairs for the kids that sleeps 4. Also downstairs is a huge hangout area with a big screen TV, pool table, and a pull out couch that turns into a king bed. We have a 24ft beautiful Swimming Pool with a small water fall. We have an out door seating area and beach chairs for 13 people. It can sleep 12 to 19 people comfortably. Everything in the house was remodeled in 2014 from the floors to the windows to the two 80" big screen TVS, pool table and new furniture. But this is not your fancy white wall new house. The house is an Fort Lauderdale original house that is full of beach personality and spirit.

We are located perfectly close to everything. Most importantly we are only 97 steps from the beach. We are 2 miles from Los Olas blvd, 1.2 miles from Galleria mall, 1 mile from Target, 1.2 miles from Publix grocery.

When you rent our house you will get our ' How to enjoy Ft. Lauderdale Book' This is a book of all the best restaurants, movie theaters, fun things to do, Nightlife locations and all those secret places only the locals know about.

We have everything you need for the beach I including 10 beach chairs , beach towels, beach umbrellas and a cooler.

Our goal for you is to have the best vacation ever. Renting our house is not just a house rental, its a decision to not just stay in a normal house, but in the Ultimate Beach House!!!!!

Read the fine print. This listing requires that you charter the boat in addition to your stay. I'm not even sure this boat runs as it never left the dock the entire time we were there. The host gets you to pay the full amount of the charter in advance and then ghosts you. There was no communication from this host from the time we paid for the charter until the next morning after the day the charter was supposed to happen. The host was then upset that we didn't contact him.Due to this and diesel fumes inside the cabin, We left a day early.Also note: The directions on this listing will send you to the wrong location. When we arrived the host was unreachable on the number listed. After several phone calls we find out that he's out of the country and wasn't going to be here to captain the boat anyway. His Facebook page shows he was advertising for someone to captain this boat up until the day of our arrival. We asked him who the captain would have been in his stead and got no answer.Total scam. If you read his reviews on other sites you'll see he's treated others this way as well.

What a nice size home right across the street from the beach. It is a very spacious home with a game room, outdoor pool. A golf cart ride away is Lauderdale by the Sea, and the other direction Los Solas where some great food and shopping awaits you.The down side is the lack of maintance and keep up with the home. The lack of internet in the home. You can see the extenders. None of the TV's could maintain streaming nor cable as the signal would drop consistently. So if your a family that likes to watch some TV in the evenings or early mornings this house is not for you.There were 2 Masters. One upstairs which my husband and I took their was mold and mildew build up on the doors that would have led to the roof top lounge. Loved the shower but only one side gets hot water. We did not partake in the Jacuzzi tub.The 2nd was down stairs which my eldest daughter and her husband took. They had a window air conditioner, which was very noisy. Also on that same window the blinds were broke and you can see through. Made them very nervous. There shower had very little hot water.The first bathroom on the right had a foul smell when you took a shower. My 24 year old couldn't get a shower in there without gagging, so she shared a shower with her sister. The kitchen faucet was very loose and made it difficult to get hot water. Some of the coffee cups had chips in them.

The house is amazing. Our group had such a wonderful time there, whether it was group meals or meetings around the large dining room table, watching TV or just hanging out in the living room, making meals in the kitchen, sitting by the pool or all sitting on the beach. Outstanding in every way

We had a great stay at this property. The hosts were highly responsive and the property was as advertised. The proximity to the beach and downtown were both ideal. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay with a decent size group in Ft Lauderdale.

Spacious house in a great location. It is exactly as described and photos are 100% accurate. The place was exceptionally clean and ready for guests. The large pool is a plus for days when the surf is too rough or sargassum decides to show up. Our family group of 8 had a great time. We would certainly return.

Great House!

This was our third spring break in the Ft Lauderdale area and this was the best house yet. Very roomy for our group of four adults. Short walk to the beach. We spent a ton of time at the pool and really enjoyed the house in the evening. House had everything we needed and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Leo, the property manager, is fantastic and a pleasure to deal with. Overall, a great house!!

Perfect Vacation

We had the most perfect vacation because of our stay at this perfect beach house! The house itself is beautiful. The location is unbeatable. It is steps from the sand. The pool is perfect. We spent many hours in it cooling off and playing with the kids. And the house has everything you need- including so many thoughtful finishing touches for people traveling in with airline luggage restrictions. And the beds are unbelievably comfortable! It truly was a dream vacation and we can’t thank you enough! We’re already looking forward to our stay next year.

NYE Beach retreat

Great property. Well represented in description. Both owner and property manager were very attentive. Took care of any additional needs. We had 4 adults 7 kids ages 5-15 and everyone had plenty of space. My wife(not a rental home fan) even enjoyed the house and stated she would stay again! Huge win! Thanks Doug and Leo!

Perfect Family Get Away

Our family of 11 - 6 adults and 5 children under 10 had a fabulous stay. Besides the location being ideal - only a short walk to the beach - the house was perfect. Location was wonderful. Place decorated nicely and had everything you could want. Unfortunately, the pictures as shown on Vrbo were probably taken when it was new. The place shows a lot of wear and tear. Large enough to accommodate a large group. Called property manager when we arrived late to say coffee pot missing from coffee maker. Next morning brand new coffee maker was outside door. That is great service. Overall good stay but not best property we stayed at.

Great Week

We had a great week with family. Perfect for 2 separate families to stay under the same roof and still be able to have some private time when needed. The pool a with the close proximity to the ocean gave us the feel of an ocean front condominium but having the benefit of multi room house. Our family “beaches” all over and this property stands out as one of our favorite places. Fort Lauderdale is great and we would love to recreate the experience down the road.

Best Vacation House

From the moment we landed the house manager was in contact with us. They actually got us in earlier for check in which was nice surprise. The house was even better in person! It has anything you could think of needing from pots, pans, our own pool, pool rafts, beach chairs, towels, coolers, canopy for the beach and beach stroller! We were a party of 10 and had tons of room to spread out. Very clean! Absolutely perfect for us Moms and our daughters. Definitely planning our next trip with the girls here next year!

Beach House vacation

This was one of the best vacations we took with family. We had 9 adults, everyone had the perfect space. The house was big enough where everyone felt comfortable. It was perfect for walking to the beach. When everyone had enough of the beach we walked back and relaxed by the pool. Perfect place, would do it there every year.
