Quick 2 days

Quaint and clean motel. They had beach chairs for us and a clean pool with available chairs. Ice machine and someone to greet us or help with needs would have been better. Missing a hot tub and a pop machine. Thanks

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Scammer/Harassment

I had a chlorophyll medicine bottle the busted in my travel bag and leaked through to one of the beds. Which I admitted to the host was a mistake and even mentioned that I did not mind covering the fee to cover the blanket on that one bed. However, after telling them this, they harassed me for 24 hours calling me careless and confusing. And ended up charging me for BOTH beds even though the spot was only on ONE. They even said I “ruined the beds” even though there was one spot on one blanket. I also told them I have pictures of the beds before I checked out as proof (just in case housekeeping or someone lied on me). They told me they had pictures as well. I confidently told them to send me their pictures of BOTH BEDS that they claimed were “ruined” which they never sent me. Because they know they were lying and over charging me. They said they would send me pictures of BOTH blankets the next day and NEVER DID. Only send one picture which is the one blanket with the spot. I have suffered a days worth of name calling and harassment all because of a spot on a blanket which I apologized for multiple times. I told them I will be contacting my lawyer for the overcharge and now the harassment. THE POINT IS: BEWARE!!! They will overcharge you. Nothing else in that room was left damaged or ruined. They harassed me about a spot on 1 bed. And REAL guest would have been honest and charged for the one spot and moved on. We now have a lawsuit we are dealing with.

Great in almost every way

Exactly as advertised. Clean, convenient, and good communication. High ratings in every way except the mattresses and pillows. Mattresses were bowed from use and pillows were flat. If they replace those, it's definitely a place I'd stay when I travel to the area monthly.

Who's been sleeping in my bed?!

The tiny room had a bright atmosphere however the mattresses were the worst! At one time the 6" sponge mattresses were probably sufficient but one felt like two ton Tilly slept in one with the size of the 'hole' in the middle & the other one was so flat on one side I thought I was going to fall off every night.. but really! The beach towels they provided were dirty which made us wonder if the bed sheets were also. The room was so small that you had to brush your teeth in the bedroom & the shower stall didn't have one place other than the floor or your toes to put the soap. :(

Peaceful stay in the sunshine!

I keep coming back because I love the proximity to the beach, safe, quiet building in nice area, clean comfortable unit, well kept property and easy communication. Love it & highly recommend!

Everything was solid. Redone nicely inside, perfect location. We didn't use the pool so no comment on that. Parking truly is limited, so only plan to bring one car. Water temperature and pressure could be higher but it was fine. Mattresses certainly need replacement but were fine.

Everything as advertised 👍

Check-in was simple and seamless, just an email with entry instructions. They even had the room ready sooner and let us check in early. Upon arrival the room was prepped, clean, icy cool A/C, and looked great. We spent some time in the pool as well. The privacy gate is a nice touch. If I had to make one improvement it would be the mattresses. They’re not in terrible condition, but definitely something to put on the list. Other than that, it was a great spot especially for the nightly rate. We will be staying here again, for sure 😊

Vacation to Visit with Family in Area

Perfect Place to decompress while visiting with family in the area. Spent morning and evening there. Enjoyed the lovely pool and privacy fencing on property. We had a small issue with our room and it was promptly taken care of 😁 Would definitely spend more time here 💗

Schön eingerichtetes kleines Appartement Super für ein paar Tage am Strand Perfekt wäre noch wenn es einen Besen gebe mit dem man den Sand den man vom Strand dann doch irgendwie mitbringt zusammenfegen kann. Tolle flauschige reichlich vorhandene Handtücher Kleiner Pool mit ausreichend Liegen. Vermieter antworten schnell falls vorab Fragen sind. Nur ein paar Schritte zum Strand, perfekt Geräumiger Kühlschrank Große Dusche Für 2 Personen genug Platz

My Back Will Never Be The Same

Great location, walkable to most all fun... small pool and crowded with tons of kiddos... the water ended up a bit dirty. The beds were HORRIBLE, absolutely concaved. Need replacement 2 years ago. The drains were all plugged and dirty.

Enjoyable stay in great location

Great mother-daughters long weekend stay! We enjoyed our time at The Shores. The location is perfect with shops, restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The hosts were very responsive to messages and answered our questions. The only negative feedback I have is the lack of housekeeping services we received daily. I'd expect a hotel to refresh toiletries such as soap and shampoo daily as well as coffee cups, etc. We received only towels daily and we felt those weren't enough for 3 people staying in one room. Not sure if these housekeeping protocols were reduced due to COVID, but I would have appreciated more attention to the room. There was a stain on the mattress cover under the sheets on one of the beds as well. Hence the 4 stars. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
